You may have already spent an hour ruminating through the Amazon listings for cables for your new Apple product(s) (USB-C? Alas, Lightning, we hardly knew ye!) to keep your peripherals compatible. I swear, it's a conspiracy against the consumer... I spent HOURS 1 night, looking for about 6 new cables/adapters to integrate my new MacBook Pro (with its x4 USB-C ports ONLY), and this cable is the option I finally settled on (read: "took a chance with").
