Excellent present for my granddaughter

Just like the set I had in the 90’s but thinner. My son loves playing with this and using both the templates and making his own designs. You can also change the colour of the background light. Great toy!

This is one the toys I most remember from my youth and wanted to get one for my son, I bought if as a Christmas present, it arrived in good time and well packaged. The toy itself is smaller than I expected but there is plenty of space to make light up pictures. The pegs sit in the holes ok and light up well. Overall a great little toy and my son will have plenty of fun with it just as I did at his age!

My 4 year really enjoys playing with this, as do we. Comes with some sheets with designs on to try and copy, or if like our daughter, you just do whatever design you want. If you press the on/off button again it has a flashing mode and on the back it has a little stand that folds out so you can either have it laying flat or propped up. Needs 3x AA batteries which DO NOT come with it, so make sure you have some batteries to hand and a screwdriver to undo the battery cover. Overall a fun little toy. Keep the beads away from little ones though, they are very small!!

Considering these have been around for decades, I was expecting a high quality product. It was well packaged and delivered quickly. However there were many aspects of this toy that didn’t function efficiently. The light is brightest in the middle of the unit so as you place the bulbs around the sides they’re not as bright. In the photos of it, it doesn’t show a gradient to the brightness of the bulbs, they’re all as bright as each other no matter where they’re placed on the board, so these photos have obviously been photoshopped which is false advertisement. Also, you can’t click the bulbs into place so they stay sturdy in that fixed position. Although they don’t fall out if the toy is held upside down, they all sit slightly lopsided as they’re not securely held in place. My daughter would be disappointed if I replaced this toy because she does like it but I can see her frustration when the bulbs lean to one side and don’t sit in the uniform sturdy position they should. I don’t think this is well made and wish I had gone for an alternative brand.

Yo recuerdo haber jugado con los pinchitos clásicos cuándo era pequeña, así que se lo regalamos al peque de 2 años para jugar con él. Le gusta mucho, porque es muy llamativo y capta su atención. Es de fácil manejo, y le ayuda a ejercitar "la pinza", trae 6 plantillas para copiar dibujos que le vendrán muy bien a su hermano mayor. Los materiales son de calidad, y las luces tienen varias posiciones, todas encendidas, van cambiando las que encienden, parpadean todas... depende de las veces que le des al botón.
