Awesome
Works great. I used a low voltage new work box and had to cut it out a bit and move one of the wall clamps over to the other side to get the circuit board to fit through. Got a drill and a jig saw or hacksaw and you are set. Otherwise easy install. When the rotary switch is turned all the way down, I cannot hear any music, which makes it as a good as off. Love it. I leave this zone on 90 and usually only have to click the switch up to the 2-4 position. Sometimes I do blast it out and it works great. I am only using one channel for 2 Polk Audio RC80i 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers (Pair, White) wired in series and they rock. May hook some more up in my dining room.

Easy and Self Explanatory
These Volume Control Nobs work with no issues, every now and then a customer would break it by overturning them but other than that they work as expected. If installed properly everything should be fine. I’ve had one of my techs install it incorrectly with stranded 1pair 16awg speaker wire and had static. Simple fixes.

Stereo! Two channels!
I thought I'd need 2 post-amp volume knobs. None are less than 20 bucks. Make sure you're getting a stereo type. Saves on needing one for each channel. No noise. Clicks for setting as knob is turned, which i found very handy.

Works well, but you might need to solder. Doesn't fit a standard box.
I bought this Pyle Home Wall Mount Volume Control "used like new." It looked just like new, but didn't work. On close inspection, one of the speaker pigtail leads was not properly soldered. I fixed that and it worked. It works well in fact, with the minimum setting turning the volume off completely. This does not really fit a standard duplex box with all the wiring required. I put it in a 2-gang box, but it didn't fit that either. I had to notch away some of the box internal moulding. I got a standard 1 rectangle + 1 blank cover plate, and that fit nicely. Bottom line, it can be made to work, but takes a little effort.

Works but need to be creative during install
The control works great with the speakers purchased at the same time from Amazon. The only thing to be aware of is that the electronics as part of the volume control is pretty good size and is a tight fit in an in wall electrical switch box. The instructions say that the control must be installed in a wall box and should not be installed directly to a wall surface. And be aware that the boxes you get at Lowes or HD with the little anchor flippers that you tighten from the front are too small. At least the ones that I was able to get were. I had to take a regular switch box (normally anchored with nails into studs) and modify it with the flippers from the box from HD that was too small. You have to be a bit creative if you are mounting the control in an existing wall unless you have access to a stud to which you can mount a box to by using nails. Hope this helps.

Doesn’t fit in a standard switch box
Does not fit in a standard electrical switch box. Wire connections are on the back edge so the wires have to bend 90 to fit in the contacts. Poor design!!!

Works great
I used this to control a 2nd set of speakers out on my patio. It has distinct "clicks", about 10 of them when you rotate the knob. Smooth, quality feel to it, and no adverse effects to the audio. Good product.

Works Great
It took a bit of finagling to get it into a hole I cut in my boat salon to control the volume separately from that in the cockpit, but in the end it works great. I also put one in the cockpit. These replaced L-pads that rusted very badly and stopped working. I hope these hold up better in this salt water environment. But if they don't I already have holes cut for their replacements.

Good quality, does the job, no complains. I used it to turn down the base of by home entertainment system's subwoofer.

Impedance balancing works. One unit so far looked...questionable... One leg looked burnt...but it works... The Right IN+. Installed 3 so far, working fine. I prefer these over the sliding versions. They barely fit into a normal box... I actually trimmed some metal to get them to insert into a single gang low voltage box. But works fine.

it perfectly fits with my low voltage box,, works well with my Sonos setup.

1. This unit was not adequately tested at the factory. The left channel volume does not change between zero and ten, but changes correctly above ten, and is obviously faulty. Even a simple, cursory test at the factory would have detected this flaw. I bought two of these units, and the other functions perfectly, so it's a testing error, not a design error. 2. Poor manufacturing control. The silk-screen labels on one side of the board correctly label Left and Right + and - values, but the other side shows both channels as L (photo attached). This is ridiculous. I get it that the PC board designer's first language may not be English, but this an avoidable error that never should have gotten past even the quickest, most cursory review. That the factory sent it to Pyle for approval is damning. That Pyle accepts it is damning. The difference between L and R in audio components is not a language issue, it's a fundamental engineering issue. 3. Poor design: instead of connectors on the board, it has wires soldered into holes. They flex and the joints are fragile. This is unnecessary. Connectors are dead cheap and they keep wires from breaking off. Please, just show some MINIMAL effort at quality control, please! Pyle needs to up its game. After looking at this shoddy piece, shoddily manufactured, shoddily tested, I am reluctant to trust them in the future. I will only buy Pyle brand from a reseller that has an excellent return policy.
