I found this a good strong combi ladder and so far has done its job. One needs to gain the confidence of the ladder especially when using for first few times and can be quite scary if not used previously. Assembly of the bits is easy and straight forward but the roller mechanism takes a bit of getting used to if you have had other makes previously, or not used a combi before. This type of ladder requires the use of all the safety recommendations especially when used as shown in photo and needs to be respected. So far a great purchase at a very competitive price and certainly very useful bit of kit and saves the need to assemble a platform for many small jobs.

First ladder arrived with 6 rungs damaged ( probably the couriers) ...seller sent out a replacement for the next day, that was damaged too, so they repeated the process again That ladder had some minor damage so I didn't say anything as it doesn't impact safety or usability The couriers are clearly useless but this seller and the ladder itself are great. Ladder gives many options for its use, but does fell a bit wobbly at full height as a step ladder, that said I am about 6ft 2 and 17 stone so anyone lighter won't feel the same " wobble" or flex. As I say I can't fault the service and the ladder is great. Tall enough for any outdoor jobs on a normal height house or tree pruning etc

The item was as described and delivered fast we were given good correspondence as to its dispatch. I haven't been up it yet but it looks very sturdy and safe I've hung it on the wall in my garage horizontally as it was too long to store vertically and split the ladder into two parts to make it lighter, though it is light enough to handle in use. There are so many times when you need hight in a garden or around the house when you can't support a ladder on the item you are attending to this does the job. Buy with confidence.

The Ladder arrived on time in a Cellophane bag. I would have thought it would have been packaged a little bit more to protect it from transit damage. It had some oil stains on it, but I am sure once we open it out and clean it up it should be fine. We havnt used it yet. but looks good and strong and not too heavy.

Mine was delivered to the next door neighbour because the supplier didn't give tracking information or text me or email me to say that it would be delivered that day. It's generous of any neighbour to accept delivery of this gigantic parcel - well, very long parcel. And mine came without any instructions. And the metal on one side was bent, and on the other side the plastic fitting was too loose and kept falling out. Fitting the stabiliser bar was difficult because the recess into which it had to fit was bent and distorted. But I managed it. I hit it with a hammer to make it go in, and noticed how soft and fragile the plastic was and how easily marked and dented the metal was. I don't really trust it, not even on very even ground and certainly not on a lawn. Fine if you ascend as far as the hinge at the top, but if you go on climbing to the point shown in the photograph you are risking your life. You could end up dead or paraplegic. I would prefer a longer stabiliser bar and thicker, more substantial metal components. The lack of any instruction leaflet is deplorable as the sticker on the ladder does not give information about assembly. I was tempted to give this 2 stars. I think I might use it more rarely than I intended to. I'd be happy to pay twice or three times the price for a ladder which has a better build quality.

I purchased these 10 months ago and have used them in and outside the house, they separate very easily for smaller jobs. When using them in the free standing position it does take a lot of getting used to at full length and I would recommend someone holds the ladder at all times as it moves around from side to side slightly. I used this method when painting my bedroom ceiling as it is around 15 feet at its highest point. The ladders are very good value as the construction is solid and they are still easy to handle due to the length when retracted. I am very happy with the purchase and wonder how I managed without them - as do my neighbours!!

Great height and very stable. Extremely impressed how versatile it is for a big ladder

Good quality but I wouldn't use it like the guy in the picture (i.e. extended stepladder) on my own. The versatility of it is great but from a safety point of view, particularly for the longer reach ladders, I'd always make sure some one was there to foot it.
