Works perfectly and without drama
Excellent quality, works perfectly out of the box. Took less than 5 minutes to set up without any drama. Used to track backpack on international flight. Showed bag location. It was delayed, but the knowledge it was there somewhere took the anxiety out of the wait, and I could sit back and relax without having to maniacally check each bag and only pay attention when it's close. I was tempted to trigger the alarm in the tag, but thought it might be unsettling to have luggage "alarming".... Tag survived with no damage.

Galaxy SmartTag2 on Google Android
Works well. Had to use uTag app mod for SmartThings which was easy. Then connected to my Pixel 9 Pro . Seems to be quite accurate. I hope I wont need it on my flight to France later. Only difficulty I had was resetting device which means removing battery using that very small fiddley tool they give you. Overall very pleased, now ordered another.

Good but....!!
I got a 4 pack of these tags. I've just spent 3 and a half hours non-stop being guided by Gemini AI and have only just got the first tag working properly, and I will say it now does the job it's made to do brilliantly. Now I'm 1 and a half hours into setting up the second tag with the help of Gemini and still it is not connecting to my Z Fold 7 properly. Why should you make these things so complicated and you don't even provide any instructions. The AI has guided me through umpteen different methods to try and make these work. How much time should I waste on these things. I will now look for another alternative and return these. Edit: Well, after about 7 hours of frustration, Gemini AI and myself now have 4 fully working Smart Tags. I just can't believe it took that long and it really shouldn't. I think one of the many problems may have been that the supplied button batteries have a bitter coating to deter toddlers from eating them. I used Isopropyl alcohol in the end to wipe off the coating and everything was a bit slicker with better battery contact. I've upgraded from 1 star to 4 stars since despite the setup problems, the trackers now work perfectly and track down to within 1 metre accuracy, and if I missplace my phone, I can make that ring from any of the trackers, even if it is set to silent. Setup was a pain but I have to admit they now work perfectly.

Money well spent
Much better than the previous version. Easy to set up. Used a set of these on my last tour. Was really helpful tracking my luggages at the hectic baggage collection belt. Could see which one is unloaded and haw far. Will recommended. Would like to see card version too.

A worthy rival to the airtag
I was in the market for a new item tracker, and this SmartTag2 caught my eye. The new design is a major improvement over the old model. The larger loop makes it incredibly easy to attach to keys, luggage, or even a pet's collar. It has a sleek, polished look that feels sturdy and modern, and it doesn't feel bulky in my pocket. Ease of Setup The setup process was a breeze. As soon as I took it out of the box and opened the SmartThings app on my Samsung phone, it was instantly detected. The app walked me through a quick, intuitive pairing process, and I was up and running in minutes with my tag named and ready to go. Connectivity & Range The connectivity is rock-solid. The Bluetooth LE 5.3 connection holds a great range, and I have no trouble getting it to ring from my phone within my house or even out in the garden. The addition of UWB (on compatible devices) is a huge plus, as it provides incredibly precise directions to the tag when you're nearby. SmartThings Find Network This is the killer feature. If I leave my keys at a coffee shop, the tag uses the anonymous Galaxy Find Network to get a location. Essentially, it pings other Samsung devices that are nearby and updates its location for me on a map. This feature gives me real peace of mind, knowing that even when out of Bluetooth range, I have a great chance of finding my lost item. Lost Mode & NFC The new "Lost Mode" is a brilliant addition. If I lose my tag and someone finds it, they can use their phone's NFC to get a message from me with my contact information. It's an anonymous and very effective way to get my belongings back without revealing too much information. Battery Life The battery life is seriously impressive. Samsung claims up to 500 days on a single battery, which means I can practically set it and forget it for over a year. The fact that it uses a standard, replaceable CR2032 battery is also a huge plus, so I don't have to worry about replacing the whole device when the power runs out. Durability I’m a bit clumsy, so the IP67 dust and water resistance rating is a huge relief. I don't have to worry about it getting wet in the rain or taking a little splash. It feels tough and well-built, which is exactly what you need in a device you're going to clip onto your keys or luggage. Speaker Volume This is the only reason I'm giving it a four-star rating instead of five. While the speaker is decent, it could be a lot louder. If the tag is buried deep in a bag or under a thick cushion, the ring can be a little tough to hear. It's not a deal-breaker, as the Compass View feature helps a lot, but a louder alert would be a big improvement. Extra Features I also love the extra features. I can use the physical button on the tag to ring my phone if I misplace it, and I can even use it to trigger a smart home automation. These small features add a lot of value and make the tag so much more than just a tracker. Final Thoughts For any Samsung user, this is a must-buy. It’s an easy-to-use, reliable, and incredibly feature-rich tracker that provides a ton of value and peace of mind. The design is a massive step up, and the long battery life means you can rely on it for a very long time. It's an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

Works as expected. Found my keys, nearby, by bleeping the tag
Works as expected. Survived a 2 hour wash in the washing machine, after a good dry out. Keep the app up to date and regularly confirm locations so th tags remain connected.

A pragmatic and cost effective solution.
My wife had misplaced a shoulder bag containing several valuable items - she found it eventually, but it got her worried. Amazon were running a special offer on the four-pack of Galaxy SmartTag2 trackers, so we decided to give them a try. They were easy to configure and work well. Obviously, they do not contain a GPS and cannot communicate with the servers on their own, but they are cheap to own, have a good battery life and will help to narrow down the search for your lost item. I've put a second one in the case of my new laptop.

Stra-consigliati!
