My daughter is 10 and I wanted to get a mat for her to perform her gymnastics moves. Something good for her height and size. I spent a long time looking at all the sizes provided by multiple companies and reading reviews. This one was by far the best. For a kid her age, 10 feet long and 4 feet wide is perfect. It is long enough for her to do her moves but not too narrow either like 3-foot-wide mats. Being 2 inches thick is perfect as well because it provides just the right amount of cushion. Plus, it has handles once folded up to be carried away. Best bang for your buck. Very durable. Not too heavy to make you struggle but not too light making worry if it won't stay in one place. When my daughter gets older and bigger, I would get a longer mat but this is perfect for a kid between 7 and 12 who is in the 4-to-5-foot range. If your kid is 5'6" and above, I would get a longer mat but make sure it is still at least 4 feet wide.

This is a great large sized mat. It is durable and has great padding. My daughter has been doing her tumbling on it. It does not move around and it folds easily and is easy to move around the house with the handles. It also did not come with the horrible chemical smell that some of these mats often come with these days. We are very happy about this purchase and would happily buy from the company again!

This is a great mat for kids practicing tumbling at home. The handles make it easy to carry and it folds up so it doesn’t take up much space. There was no smell when it arrived and it’s thick and sturdy enough for you to be comfortable with your kids using it for flips/backbends/cartwheels etc.

All in all I am very satisfied with this purchase. We chose these mats as an alternative to spending 500 dollars on a wrestling mat. The reviews were pretty good and with a 2 year warranty why not take a chance on them. I will say that one of the mats arrived with a 3 inch tear on it, however this could've been a shipping and handling issue. I reached out to Amazon and the company promptly sent me a replacement so the customer service is fantastic and what you like to see from a product like this. The mats come with Velcro to attach multiple mats and are a pretty decent size. They are easy to manipulate and attach to one another so big plus there. They are also easy to remove and fold up to store upright somewhere convenient. The carrying handles also make things convenient when carrying the mats. They mats themselves are firm but still provide a ton of cushion which is exactly what I was looking for to be able to wrestle and grapple on them.Now for the quality test....We put these mats to the test with a little wrestling practice. 3 hours straight of high school kids takedowns, throws and even live wrestling and the mats held up fantastic with no issues. What's great about these mats is they are easy to transport and that you can always just order another one to add to the desired size and kind of customize how you want to set them up for your room. And as mentioned above, the 2 year warranty combined with excellent customer service will put your mind at ease when purchasing these mats. I would definitely recommend.

Well, right off the bat there was an issue when I received a purple mat instead of gray like I ordered (see three photos). I let the seller know, and proposed that I would keep the mat instead of returning it if they'd be willing to offer a partial refund as there were purple mats in the same size that I could get from other sellers for less money if I had wanted that color. They agreed, and although it took a little longer than a week to see the refund pending on my card, they made good on their word, so I kept the mat. Honestly, I hate this shade of Barney purple, but whatever. As long as it serves its purpose...Upon totally unboxing and unfolding the mat, everything looks good. No rips/tears or defects as far as I can tell. I'll edit this review in the future if it doesn't hold up well, but I think it will as most other reviews indicate that it does, and as far as the seller's communication, I'm very satisfied.

My almost 10 year old is taking acro dance lessons. This mat is perfect! She is SO happy with it.I really like the quality of the mat and the fact that you can add another one next to it. It’s comfortable and easy to walk on. She’s been practicing a lot and says it’s great.

I purchased these mats to create an indoor walking space. The mats connect together securely with velcro. The mat walks well. You can step the edge of the mat without feeling like tipping off. The 24" X 10" surface is great for floor exercises like sit ups or planking. My granddaughter practices her floor routine on them. I keep the mats down because it motivates me to use them. They come apart, fold, and store easily.These impact absorbing mats are a practical addition to the home.
