Though a work of fiction, On Cowley Road parodies 'masculinity' in the twenty-first century, whereby many young men have fallen almost completely by the wayside with affairs of the heart and finding their true identity. This book also uncovers much of the underground, unseen reality of what goes on at the dark edges of modern student life, and it would be a harrowing read if it wasn't so bloody humorous.'
