Beware: Clown-sized
I have ordered Rubie's items before and were completely happy with other items, which made me even more completely disappointed in the utter lack of quality of these gloves. The picture is misleading and makes them look much better than they actually are. Granted, the do photograph just like that, but beware, that is not what they look like in person. They are one solid rubber molded piece, that is sparkley silver, not black. And that top claw is not anywhere near in line with the others. But the biggest problem of all, and why I will be returning them, is that they are ridiculously humongous! Like clown-sized big! If they actually fit, it would be possible to paint and modify them into something cool ... but I also should not have to mod an item that cost almost $30! But the utter hugeness of the size makes modding them impossible. Again, sorely disappointed in both Rubie's and Amazon, who lately has an abundance of bad products in their market :(

As a big-handed man, they fit me... But rubber gloves was the wrong choice.
As someone with large hands, I was a bit shocked to read all the "too large!" comments. I had the expectation that they would be too large for even my colossal hands. I was surprised to find that the glove-section fit me perfectly. As they are molded rubber, the articulation in the fingers isn't particularly good. Bending the fingers can cause some discomfort (pinching rubber) in the bending areas, so if you intend to fight crime with these, you might want to do what others have suggested, and cut off the glove section, and replace it with a real glove that actually fits. If you leave the glove alone, be aware that the rubber in the fingers will eventually start to rip at the joints, due to the constant bending.I will need to fit padding in the forearm section to help the gloves keep their form, and they'll need to be painted, as they come in a speckled sliver. I will let the rubber gloves stay for this holiday season, but I will be replacing them for future use.If you have large hands, give these a shot. But be aware that they will need work to look good.

Cutomization is Key!
Alright, Read all the reviews. EVERYONE is RIGHT. These are "Clown Gloves", But...But, if you put in the work, they are "Amazing" as a "Starter Kit" For constructing the "Gauntlets" You envision. Now, they are my first ever Project. It took me a "Razor", and LOTS of VELCRO. First thing I did was get rid of the "Gloves", cutting them "Free", leaving only the "Gauntlets". The Left piece was shaped well and hard. The Right piece was weak and "Deformed". So, consistentcy might not be present, batch to batch. I only used about 50 percent of the material, to Wrap around "Real Steel Gauntlets" that I have. So for me, these get Five Stars, because they were amazing as "Material" to add to actual "Gauntlets" to acquire The "Dark Knight" theme and experience was wonderful. The End Result would be more like a hundred dollars, and the 30 was well spent on getting the "Frame" I needed for this result. So the pictures are AFTER customization and are NOT what you get with your purchase.. Might need two pairs, to ensure quality cuts.

WOW! Terrible quality and freakishly huge! Way too big for my huge hands.
So, somehow I missed all the bad reviews on this product. I usually pay attention to reviews closely on amazon but somehow didn't see all the warnings on these gloves, which turned out to be 100% true.1. These gloves are for a giant. I have really large hands and they were WAAAAY too big for me.2. They are terrible quality molded rubber. They are clearly enhanced in the picture as all the components are puffed out and in 3 dimensions, but in reality all the details are floppy and flat. You'd have to really work on these gloves to make them look like the picture.3. They are sprayed with a silver paint and are way lighter silver than in the picture. They look multi-toned black/grey in the picture but they are pretty much just mat silver in real life. Way to light, need to be darker black.I'm returning these, happy that I bought an alternative to try at the same time.

...*great* seller, *great* product, *great* experience...! /-)
...cosplaying as Batman, these *look* & seemed great- *my* only problem was: *I* *STUPIDLY* bought the *wrong* size for me (they were too *wide* forearm-wise & I had to *staple* them to be *tighter* on me)- other than *my* stupidity, *WELL WORTH IT*...! ...just *DON'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE* to buy them- give yourself a couple *months* leeway so if you order a wrong size, you can return them to get the next size up or down... '8-)

They are very big but so is Batman
I like these gloves as they make your hands/forearms larger than life and isn't that what Batman is all about? I prefer some contrasting colors/textures in my costume to better show some of the details, so I didn't mind the coloring either. My biggest complaint is that my hands/arms get hot in them as they don't breathe and between the cape, gloves, and cowl... It doesn't take long to overheat when walking in 70 degreeish temps. I will probably do as others on here have and keep the gauntlets/hand details and attach them to a breathable pair of gloves that will allow me to use my phone without removing the gloves and hopefully keep me a little cooler.
