Easy to clean and quality is good
Very good cafetiere, well worth the price, can’t go back to instant coffee and coffee machines take up too much space when mostly only making coffee for one, I fill it full for my morning and put what is left into a flask cup

Glass Part Is Not Removable But Otherwise A Good Product
For the price this item is excellent but be aware the glass jug part does not come out of the plastic holder as stated on the product details here: Easy to use, brew a cup of coffee in minutes. The 34oz/1000ml French Press for 2-3 perfect cups of coffee. The whole body is removable, very easy to clean. Dishwasher safe. I have decided for the price it isn't worth returning it and since the cage and handle are plastic, it's probably fine to put the whole thing in the dishwasher (unlike the metal cage versions) but I purchased it specifically because I thought the glass part was supposed to be removable. Not made a cup of coffee in it as it's to go in a rental property but in terms of how it looks, it's fine and I'm sure will do the job. In the end it's a bargain and can forgive the slightly misleading description. 1st world problem!

I can mix teabags and loose leaf tea with it, too- just rip open the bags and dump them in. Decant it into a teapot after you finish steeping, and put the teapot on a warmer- then enjoy! It’s really easy to clean, just tap it out and give it a quick rinse. The plunger cleans up pretty easily once it dries a bit. One thing that I don’t like is that it doesn’t pour smoothly, as it “glugs”- however, this is a very easy fix! I just drilled a small hole in the plastic top, opposite the spout, so that air can get in. It’s made a huge difference!! Update October 2024: it gets nearly daily use, and has performed flawlessly (drilling that tiny air hole in the lid really helped). It is sturdy and easy to clean. I am very glad that I bought it.
