Works well but small for me.
Living in a small space, I thought this would be great for photos. It does a good job, but It was too small. I ordered the larger size. It would be great for jewelry and such.

So easy to use
Love it, so convenient. I used to hate photographing my jewelry and would wait until I had several pieces because it was such a hassle getting everything set up. Now I just pop this up in a couple of seconds and have my work posted immediately.

Not as expected
It does not hold well when assembled as magnets are not strong enough. It does not include the blue backdrop which is very necessary. It has strong lights I personally don’t like that they are located at the top edge as they can interfere with your camera if you get close to the box. They will cause shadows.

Solid piece of kit, but maybe spring for the newer version if you can.
Works as advertised out of the box, simply setup, instructions are easy to follow, but the assembly... leaves something to be desired. Magnets are sloppily covered with wrinkled foam tape, some are not in the correct place and the tape is sticky and cumbersome. As a handy person, I remedied this myself, but I was disappointed to have to DIY a solution. Hopefully the newer versions don't suffer the same lack of quality, considering the cost increase. TL;DR: good value, nice product, magnets poorly applied, YMMV

Good light and transports well
It does just fine for lighting up objects against the different backgrounds. The LEDs work well and put out a lot of light. My 12" dolls, though, do not quite fit standing up so I take shots with them sitting or laying down. It collapses flat and transports well. I am happy with it so far.

Wrinkle in the middle of this window squeegee!
This looked like a quality product when it arrived and I was instantly pleased. I have one that I have used for years and the squeegee part was getting dry rot... This new one looked like a good choice, but due to poor packaging or bad storage somewhere, there was a wrinkle in the middle of the squeegee. Basically – it didn't even work as well as my old one. I would have liked a replacement, but for some odd reason, Amazon did not give that option. If you decide to purchase this, check the squeegee before even bothering to use it.

It’s compact so it doesn’t take much room in my travel bag.
The LED light strips are nice in bright. Provides perfect lighting.
