Neil Blevins Sketchbook Vol 1: Spaceships

Very cool approach to starships, i've used the images to inspire elementary level kid artists, the two pages on the drawing method would work well for adolescent high school level art classes. Really nice stuff, the shapes are super original and the way Neil writes is very approachable. And the conclusion of the book where he brings some of the hand drawings into 3d computer rendering is very inspiring. What a humble guy! Neil is the real deal when it comes to sci-fi design, with a lot of industry experience.

Very good but short sketch inspiration book. Especially informative for earlier stage design sketching with a single page that is clear and concise with only critical information that you need to understand the sketching process for early stage designs. Overall a great book and perfect for inspiring my short attention span while reminding me to think about the basics.
