Enjoyable light read on fun subject. Many good recipes and relevant quotes. Great explanation of Swedish custom and the model for the American short form of it.

Expanded my knowledge of Swedish culture .Lots of quotes from famous people about the value of the coffee break . Includes recipes .Might have given 5 stars if it included photographs . Enjoyed the text though & would be appropriate gift for someone traveling to Sweden who enjoys coffee & pastries . Cute stocking stuffer .

Easy read that explains the Swedish concept of Fika. Love the book and the practical recipes inside!

Literally a small book in size. The second half is recipes and quotes about coffee and the other half is comprised of snippets about drinking coffee and taking breaks and more quotes. I was looking for something that went deeper into the culture. I would recommend this to anyone who has superfluous cash to spend because it is charming, some might say cute. At the end of the day, nothing you couldn't just look up on the web.
