This case is way more gorgeous than the photos. I’m so happy with this purchase. Case feels sturdy, so glossy, flawless colorshift, very comfortable grip, incredibly easy assembly. (Paper manual is confusing, just follow the link to the YouTube video) High quality case. PSA: I am not rough on my switch at all. This case is perfect for me. For those who toss their consoles around a bit, I really don’t know how this would hold up to tumbles. Time will tell.

I want to try and make an accurate review for this PlayVital AlterGrip Switch OLED cover. Firstly, I think this carbon fibre design looks so nice with the neon red and blue joycons; looks almost like the new Switch 2 design, which I really like. The quality is actually better than I'd anticipated - with one negative point to make: it arrived with one of the joycon back covers broken. Sounds like a bigger issue than it is as it comes with four backs and two fronts for the joycons. It was really easy to fix to my Switch using the adhesive strips and instructions provided. Be sure to take care when handling the back panel for the main body and applying the adhesive strips, as it could be fairly easy to damage the thin edges surrounding the kickstand. This case came with two sets of multicoloured button covers, and two black thumb grips. I decided not to use them personally, but I'm sure they're just as easy to install with their corresponding adhesive dots. All in all, I'm incredibly happy with this and I think my Switch looks really stylish and also feels a lot more comfortable to hold, as I find the metal body usually tends to be a bit sharp in places. This case also doesn't hinder my gameplay, as I'm still able to press buttons, screenshot, and home button. EDIT: Upon further inspection, two 'extra' joycon backs arrived broken, and I've realised why it came with four backs, because one set are flat, and the other set are palm comfort grips (not flat).
