Scrubbed and rinsed all of the rubber oxidation and road grime off of my ties, allowed to dry and then applied this 3D tire coating. It definitely is Matte black, like a chalkboard, which is just perfect for my liking. I like the new, fresh tire look, and this product gave me just that. The shiny tire dressings absorb UV rays, attract break dust, dirt from the road and just looks cheap imo. Use a semi soft brush about the diameter of a 50 cent piece to apply. Dab a few drop on the end of the brush and work it in, in a circular motion. It appears shiny at first, then dries to a dull, matte finish. I've washed my truck, rims and tires 3-4 times since applying and they still look as if I just applied it. Keep the more aggressive tire/rim cleaners away from the tires so as to not degrade the product during washing.

I have not done any scientific tests or comparisons with this product, but from an empirical standpoint it works extremely well for a low-shine finish that has some good endurance. It is a great alternative for anyone who does not want the super-shiny wet look on their tires, but wants a "clean" finish with good protection.I am applying three coats which yields a finish I like with great water-beading performance. In my mind it is lasting longer than the shinier products I have tried, but they may also be because it doesn't seem to lose its luster as fast since it's matte to begin with.It's no harder or easier to apply than any other tire finish. With raised letters they're all a pain, even with the applicators.

I love that this tire shine brings the nice deep rich black back to tires after I clean all of dirt off of the tires. I don’t like shiny tires and this is perfect. It doesn’t sling off. When first applied it looks a bit more or a satin to maybe semi-gloss but settles down to leave a nice deep black color.

Love how easy this was to apply and the results are night and day. Totally worth it!

I’ve gone through about 15 different tire dressings before I settled on this one. GTechniq tire dressing, Koch, Carpro darkside, etc. the problem is I am looking for a matte to satin based shine. All the ones listed provided too much shine for me. I was in the search of finding a dressing that’s one shade above natural. This is just that. Applies easily and provides you with just enough shine to make the tire look very clean. It hides imperfections in the tire while not providing gloss. If you’re looking for all the things I listed, go with this. If you want more shine. Get darkside.

Works as described, doesn’t sling off and leaves a not too shiny look. I wish it lasted a little longer but I guess that’s what you get by avoiding overdoing it.
