After a few weeks of lower back pain it was clear that my mattress/bed was in need of replacement however, after a year of medical treatment when I was unable to work followed by lockdown again unable to work and currently seeking employment, buying a new mattress/bed was out of my budget. I then found these mattress toppers and this one has such positive reviews I decided to try it out as it had got to the stage where I put off going to bed as it must meant more back pain. Well the mattress topper arrived this afternoon, I unwrapped and placed on the bed, leaving it to settle - I couldn't leave it for the recommended 24 hours, but gave it a little while before testing it out. Oh, such absolute bliss! Ok, so I haven't had a full night on it yet which of course is the real test, but just a 30 minute lie down was wonderful, so comfy and my back felt fine when I got up. The mattress topper seems to provide both cushioning and support - like another reviewer, I wish I'd bought one of these ages ago! UPDATE: I have enjoyed this mattress for a few weeks now and a massive improvement to comfort and sleep quality - very glad I made this purchase!

I can't stand the smell of this topper, but it is so comfortable I am trying to persevere with it....I didn't have a spare room to air it out I had to drape it over a fully extending airer, I could only do this for 24 hours as I needed to make up my bed....also I find whichever fitted sheet I put on, it ends up all creased and puckered up during the night.....I had a Tempur a few years ago, there was no smell at all, and didn't need airing.

When I bought this I was sceptical if it would improve my overall sleep as I suffer from stenosis and a curvature of the spine. The fit is perfect but I had my doubts about the thickness. But after lying on it for the first time, I definitely would not take it off my bed now. The improvement is 100%.

It’s comfy, moves a lot tho even tho it has elastic straps, I don’t ache as much when I get up in the morning, no need for a hot water bottle in this cold weather as it retains the body heat, not so Sure how it’s going to be in the summer,
