“Tan Red” is exactly as pictured. I love this color so much. ❤️ If you are in the deep autumn color family you’re going to love this color. It’s an earth toned reddish brown that’s super flattering for any time of the year.. It goes in smoothly and is shiny even before you apply the topcoat. If you’ve never tried Double Rhythm- the polish is a good consistency; not too thin or thick. With their opaque colors I usually only need one coat which I love- so it doesn’t look so thick on my nails. It levels well and cures in 60 seconds (might be less but that’s what I do). Their colors are consistently gorgeous. Their jelly and cat eye colors are just as nice as well. They don’t chip when I use a good quality base and top coat. I keep coming back to this brand. The packing and brush are good as well. I’ve gotten a couple bottles where the brush was slightly frayed (like one or two hairs sticking out) but I simply trimmed them off and it never happened again. Even after soaking in an hot tub, frequent hand washing (I’m a nurse) and frequent application of jojoba oil to my hands it lasts for at least two weeks on natural short nails. I prefer to change the color after two weeks so I can’t say how much longer it would last but if you’re putting this over acrylics, likely quite a bit longer.

I was looking for summer red nail color and this is it! Its bright, not christmas looking or dark at all! Perfect bright, neon red for spring and summer fun nails. No magnetic effect, its not cat eye polish, but has a great smooth look. No clumping, bottle hasn't leaked. It is a little thick for my liking, but just add a few drops of acetone and its just right. Good price for the size and quality. I recommend this for anyone who likes red nails but doesn't want to carry over Christmas red into spring and summer. Seems long lasting so far. Ive worn for one week on gel x finger nails and natural toe nails with clear coat and still going... took away 1 star because i had it chip off my toe nails in couple spots that I had to fix but nothing major.

I love, love this polish! It is as good as any other gel polish, color is beautiful, coverage is incredible and it's beyond affordable! I have three colors so far - all a lighter "cream" type of color, which are notorious for needing many coats to avoid "bald" spots. I seriously have to force myself to do a second coat, always thinking the first coat is enough - I know I use terrible lighting and so I might be disappointed the next day. NO CHANCE of a third coat - that would be a complete waste of time and polish. I have in Pink, Baby Pink (FAV!) and nude. I'm buying more colors!

I’ve found that the key to getting it to last without lifting or peeling is taking the time to properly prep your nails first. The routine I use: 1. Manicure/prep my nails 2. Clean up and remove excess cuticle from the nail plate 3. Apply nail dehydrator 4. Apply nail primer 5. Apply gel base coat 6. Apply the gel color (I prefer thin coats) 7. Finish with a gel top coat I cure each gel layer as directed. Using the dehydrator and primer in particular has made a big difference for me. With good prep, I’ve had excellent wear and the color stays looking shiny and fresh for a long time. Definitely recommend it—just remember that your nail prep matters just as much as the polish!
