I'm not sure why the power button on the original remote quit working, yet everything else worked just fine. Out of frustration, I checked on Amazon and found the exact same remote. The price was reasonable and it works perfectly! Great save, Amazon!

I needed a replacement for my Insignia TV remote and, while I was willing to pay $7+ for a new one, if I could spot a deal, I'll likely consider it. I saved over $3 opting for this remote that worked out of the box. There are no AAA batteries (requires two) and no instructions/guide, but you probably won't need one if all you want to do is control the volume, channels, power, and settings. One of the (very) few times a pile of five-star reviews on this 'site was on point. Time will tell if my money stretches with this remote (my other one lasted five years and some change) however, for now, I'm pleased!

Put mine through the washer and worked before this got here, but I got my refund Very Fast!

Worked great at first but seems glitchy after a bit of use. I have to hit the button 2-3 times to get it to respond.
