HelloYes I know that you can get miles cheaper cables that will do the job but this does actually feel better quality, flexible and rubberised rather than the plasticky finish some usb cables have. The colour does make a difference in noticing the cable quickly and where it is lying when tethered particulary when most stands and wires tend to be black. This shouts 'dont trip I'm right here'. Image transfer rates are spot on.Bye

This lead seems to be the industry standard and I can see why. It's built like a tank and is easy to use.

Yes, it is expensive - Yes, it is bright orange.But, YES it is super hi-quality and absolutely perfect for tethering! I connected my Sony RX100VII to my Macbook Pro M1 (USB-C) absolutely perfectly.Lots of length (that's what she said) and is nice and flexible (!) without wanting to pull the camera or laptop over!Worth paying the extra price for!

But for the price you're paying, at least it should have better packaging to add to the user experience, it could come with the ProTab Cable Tie as an accessory.

I purchased the TetherTools TetherPro so that I could live shoot from my Canon EOS M5 tethered to a Macbook Pro which needed a USB-C to Micro-B 5-Pin.Before I purchased the cable. I researched for the most reliable tether cable and found TetherTools; an American company that has success with creating tether leads that connect from Mac/PC to a camera for transferring images and remote shooting.On the TetherTools website, it clearly says that their cable supports EOS M5 cameras.So, why the less-than-positive review? The low score review comes not from the fact that the cable is not only incompatible and therefore does not work which goes against the claim on the TetherPro website, it is the fact that TetherPro did not do their research and actually test it. It's a lofty claim that has caused frustration in having to purchase it and then returnThe cable is very expensive at £40, why does a standard USB to Micro-B cable cost so much? The packaging as other reviewers have mentioned on Amazon is of the cheapest sort, made worse with an overpriced cable that is not fit for purpose.When researching to find a USBC-HDMI cable, I asked questions (On the Amazon website) and the UK reseller responded (quite quickly) and told me it is compatible, however, it depends on Canon and how much power they have reduced their output to. In retrospect, I find this a poor excuse. It should not be the job of Canon to ensure their products work with third-party tools. It is the other way around.I don't recommend this tether cable for a setup with Macbook Pro (on Ventura) and Canon EOS cameras. If you must shoot remotely then consider using the wireless/Bluetooth function.

Stopped working after 2 uses. Having to tape it to my camera at the minute and you can’t touch the wire or it will disconnect. Want a refund. 😡

Probably what I got was defective. It didn’t deduct my camera on the Sony software. Had to return it.

Realmente bueno. Precisión en la conexión con puertos USB-C (¡mucho mejor que los cables de Apple!) y excelente calidad en la transmisión de la señal.Really good. Precision when connecting to USB-C docks (WAY BETTER than Apple ones!!!) and excellent quality in transmiting the video signal from Camera (Lumix) to Computer (unfortunately Apple Mac Pro M2).

C'est la première fois que j'utilise ce produit. Il fonctionne comme attendu. Le câble est long (ce qui est très pratique). Je le connecte via un adaptateur USB-C / USB-A et tout est nickel (aucun problème de compatibilité).Le prix peut paraitre élevé mais c'est le coût de la qualité (et un peu de la renommée de la marque ^_^).Je recommande pour les photographes de portrait et de nature morte qui souhaitent shooter de manière connectée.

Bello, robusto, perfettamente funzionante, mi permette di collegare direttamente, senza adattatori, una Sony a6400 a un MacBook Pro 15 (2017) e di scattare da remoto tramite l'app Remote fornita gratuitamente da Sony (ora compatibile con macOs Catalina 10.15.Ne esiste un modello con gli stessi connettori, a marchio Amazon, leggermente più economico che ho utilizzato per mesi senza alcun intoppo, consiglio di prenderli entrambi in modo da averne sempre uno di riserva.
