Really good
I was a bit sceptical at the cost of this, but it not only does indeed stop pushing as soon as you do so no drips it is much easier to apply the same force as a cheap one and the handle is more comfy.I had some sikaflex to apply recently and after a few tubes used up with a cheap skeleton gun I had to hand the next tube was a lot stiffer to the extent I was hurting my hand to get it out. But swapped to this gun instead and the same stiffish material came out much easier allowing me to make a nice smooth bead with much less effort and no painful palm.Well worth the cash unless you are only doing a tiny bit of caulking as a one off. It isn't built to last forever but six months of good use and it's still as good as new so far.

I wish I’d known about these earlier!
I have used a skeleton gun for years for applying caulk, silicon, glue, etc. My original gun had finally given up the ghost, so I got a replacement from Screwfix. Sadly it was very mediocre so I set about finding an alternative. This ‘dripless’ gun is great! As the name suggests when you release the trigger the flow stops instantly - very impressed. It appears well made and even has a little built in cutter for removing the cap from a new cartridge. Although more expensive than a conventional gun you pay for what you get.Do yourself a favour if you use a skeleton gun and get one.

Best mastic gun I've ever used
I mastic bathrooms for a living. This gun is a game-changer for two key reasons 1) It is super lightweight 2) It doesn't drip. I honestly wouldn't bother with any of the other brands - just get this. It is an absolute pleasure to use. The quality of my work has absolutely been improved by this.

IT WORKS!
It does the job it is designed for. Quite stiff to move the rod that pushes the mastic out of the gun but not too much of a problem.
