If there could be another option for a light like this, I don't know what it would be. Sturdy, well built, and fit for years of service. Highly recommended.

This is a sturdy, yet quite flexible/adjustable task light. In my unique application, it's plugged into a USB port on the back-side of my large monitor. The light forms to most any shape like a Gumby toy (for those of you told enough to remember those toys). It provides plenty of light when I'm measuring small and intricate parts. The 3 light color settings are nice, depending on the ambient light in my office. Simply moving your hand over the top of the light turns it on or off, so you don't have to fumble around looking for a small switch.

This little lite is bedside perfect,as long as you can or do have a usb plug at headboard height like I do..I'm sure there's plenty more uses for this handy little lite..the wave control is easy and VERY convenient, there's 3 lite temp choices and a dimmer option from high to nite lite setting for every lite temp..I would recommend this item definitely.

I plan to use this light on my laptop because it does not have a lighted keyboard. All functions work okay, with one exception. The design requires that you twist the gooseneck so the light faces downward onto the keyboard...even with rotating the light around as you can do. This has to be done so the USB can be connected properly into the side of my laptop; the hinge between the gooseneck and the light head only bends in one direction. I don't know if it is meant to have the neck twisted or if that will lead to a quicker end to its life. Time will tell. Waving hands to turn off or on is unique and the three different types of light are good.

It gives great light but sometimes goes off and on without touching it. Then it gets super hot.

I think the lamp I got was defective...it would not stay on but flickered on and off recardless of the light sertting..but more importantly, it got extremely hot...so hot you couldn't touch it...hot enought hat I could see it stareting a fire...I'm surrounded by LED lights in my home studio and they do not get warm...this one was dandersously hot..I'm returning it...

This product would perfectly solve my keyboard lighting problem if it worked all the time. The wave on/off function is inconsistent and when it does work, it either shuts off or starts blinking - it needs constant re-booting to work for even short time periods and is being returned - Very Disappointing
