I hated it for a long time now that everytime the sun shine right infront of our garage, it never close. Just installed them and they work awesome

It is intended to shelter the sun rays, allowing the door to close. We have morning sun that prevents the door from closing. We have to get out of car and hold the button on the external keypad, and try to block the sun. So far so good. It’s the best solution, and I’ve tried many.

We had consistent problems with the garage door not closing because of the sunshine. That is no longer a problem. We no longer have to get out of the car to cast a shadow so the door will close. These were easy to install and work very well!
