Criditpid 446-511A Pilot Assembly Propane Gas (LP) for Heat-N-Glo, Royal Gas Fireplaces, Replacement Heat N Glo SRV446-511A Propane Pilot Assembly Fireplace Parts with Thermocouple, Thermopile.

Ordered this after the original 20+ year old Heat-N-Glo pilot assembly thermocouple on our fireplace died. I saw some reviews of these replacements that mentioned low (and therefore insufficient) output, but I didn't test for that prior to installation. I did tweak the ignitor position so it was under the "hood" over the pilot gas outlet, which it was on the original Heat-N-Glo part but not this replacement as delivered. I now believe that wasn't necessary. 30 minute installation time, and I was going real slow and careful. Once installed, everything worked beautifully. The ignitor has a much stronger spark than the OEM part, and I think the old pilot gas outlet was partially clogged, which this also fixed. The fireplace now ignites on first press, instead of (sometimes) the tenth. And the thermocouple output is sufficient that the fireplace lights after the pilot delay is satisfied. Very happy with this.

I ordered this for my fireplace and the first one was faulty and had a leak. I returned this product for another one which I did not receive so I bought another one. I finally got the replacement and returned the extra one I had ordered. Product was returned and received back with refund suppose to be issued on Feb 8, then switched to Feb 17 and now switched to Feb 24. Can’t wait to see what it switches to next!!

It worked ok after I modified mounting bracket. I expected I would need to do that on this stovei

My o my complaint is that this came with no paperwork. No instructions. Nothing.
