Not uniform in shape. Bad smell *by V***A on Reviewed in the United States on December 27, 2018* I bought these to make my children weighted blankets. I also ordered another 10 pounds from a different manufacturer. I used the other ones first. These are much bigger than the others and have sharp edges. You can feel them through the blanket. They also do have a very bad smell! They smell like rotten orange juice. There are bits of jagged unformed plastic throughout the entire bag. For every 1 ounce of pellets I'm having to pull out 2 or more big jagged plastic pieces. See attached picture. I'm not sure, but I firmly believe the manufacturer is not a professional manufacturer. I believe it's somebody using dirty orange juice bottles they have salvaged from their neighborhood recycling bins, melting them down and squishing the plastic through a screen, old orange juice and all. I wouldn't order them again! I suppose they would work well enough for a toy that had lots of padding but not for bedding. Very disappointed! I ordered them in August and didn't open the bag until December.
