This product delivers zero burn, and thus doesn't really feel like drinking whiskey without a little modification. I find that spices such as red pepper (and the stuff used in products like Ritual's tequila) do a poor job as those linger in a way unlike ethanol. But I find that some ginger extract helps to roughly approximate the alcohol burn that I still love. So I always mix a bit of that in my drink. Wonderful product. I hope whiskey substitutes like this one continue to be produced. Perhaps one day we'll get one that gives the same sort of bite that alcohol does .
