Mounting compatibility is nice, but lack of a lip isn't.
This case is a decent option depending on your preferences, as it has its strengths and issues. The pros:- The corners of the case feel slightly thicker and harder so the impact of a fall is theoretically softer, which is a substantial plus.- The compatibility of the case with magnetic dashboard mounts is a definite plus, and for me the main draw, although I haven't tried it out yet and it's performance may affect my review.- Overall the case feels like it's made out of a relatively thick material which is nice when considering falls. The cons:- My biggest issue is there is no substantial lip to the front of the case save for slightly raised corners and more slightly raised lips near the top and bottom, yet they are so short they seem nearly level with the center of the phone. This means the screen may be subject to impact with the ground needlessly when compared to other cases. The lip should be higher all around the front.- As another review mentioned, the cutout around the camera is imperfect, and overlaps the beveled area slightly. This doesn't affect pictures taken, but may bother the aesthetic seeking eye.- The cutout for the fingerprint scanner is too large, and while again this doesn't negatively or positively affect performance, aesthetically it's not appealing and only serves to add more surface area for dust and gunk to get to the phone. The neutral:- The texture of the back of the case vaguely feels like snakeskin, save for the corners which resemble tire tread.- The section of the case over the volume and power buttons is raised, and there is a divet in the middle of the volume controls to clearly distinguish up and down. The sections also have the power, plus, and minus symbols on them.So if you're the type to really appreciate the mounting capability and are willing to overlook the other aesthetic/safety issues, go for it. I can't cosign the lip and the cutout issues personally; these should be obvious and fundamental elements of phone case design and not seemingly an afterthought.

Works just fine but she's showing her age
Ok, let's keep this simple and short. I purchased this knowing the OnePlus 6 is right around the corner. I've been using a OnePlus 2 for 2.5 years. Works just fine but she's showing her age. New phones just being released typically have a few bugs or issues (OP5 screen, jelly effect, ect.) Being that the 5t has been out just a few months, any issues that the phone had at launch have been updated with fixes AND when I set up the 5t, I was pleasantly surprised that it was upgraded to Oreo right away. Watch the videos on this device. There's bad, but mostly good. Coming from the op2, this phone is amazing. Ludicrous speed, fluid operation, crazy quick dash charge, anodized back cover, gorilla glass5, HEAD PHONE JACK!!, face unlock and a blazing fast f.p.s. At the time I purchased this, OnePlus had none in stock directly from them. So I pulled the trigger hoping this was all it was cracked up to be and it is. I enjoy using this phone every moment and I also like the fact I have a kick-ass phone that keeps up with apple and Samsung at half the price. Go for it. You will not be disappointed.

Does not fit.
Cheap case. Doesn't fit correctly. Can't even put it on and pretend it doesn't fit. The top doesn't surround the phone like it should. It came in a cheap plastic bag. This FBA-er needs to step it up with their quality control and packaging.

Best third-party case I've tried
I wanted this case for several reasons, one being that it has an integrated metal insert allowing it to adhere to Magnetic phone holders. Typically when I get a new case I have to put on one of those third party metal plates to get my phone to stick but this case has it built in. In addition, this case is a bit of a hybrid case having a hard outer shell that raps seamlessly into a rubber inner liner. I don't think I have to worry about dropping this and hurting my phone. The case tolerances are flawless and it fits the phone like one of OnePlus' OEM cases. Fair warning though it is hard to get on off given how tight the fit is. Also if you have one of OnePlus screen protectors on this case the lips on the front of the case aren't large enough to cover both the screen and the screen protector meaning that if your case does fall it may damage your screen protector. That said this case is perfect, the buttons feel very clicky and I'm contemplating buying a second one in white because I like it so much!

It's a great cover with a great back grip
It's a great cover with a great back grip. The cellphone sits tightly on the shell and still looking decently slim. It will be a great adquistion for any 5T owner.
