Such a great piece of kit
After working in professional kitchens for a bit these are literally your right hand man.And in my experience this has been one of my favourite knives to use for prep, it’s a relatively firm steel, with a little bit of flex so you can use it for multitude of purposes whilst keeping a nice edge. It’s light, manoeuvrable, and really comfortable to hold and use for hours. It’s got an 80/20 bevel bias so it’s great for chopping/dicing and mincing. it’s a polished edge so food isn’t going to stick to it too hard as you’re cutting through it.Personally for the £40 i spent, I wouldn’t buy another knife other than this.

Bought it because of a horror film. Happy to be a geek!
First off, I must say that I am a sous chef and not just a total weirdo. I discovered that this particular knife was the weapon of choice for Michael Myers in the movie Halloween 2 so decided to add it to my collection. It’s now by far my favourite day to day knife! It’s incredibly lightweight and the blade is sheer perfection. I have to cut meat at work incredibly thin and this knife is just perfect for it. Next on my list will be the rosewood filet knife.

This knife is THE BEST in its price range
I'm a chef in the restaurant of a hilton hotel, and have just finished my full knife set with this purchase, and oh my was it a good one. This knife is incredible. Its light weight, sexy and cuts like butter. The value for money you get with this knife is beyond any other, and stands strong as a perfect addition to any chefs knife roll. VERY highly recommend

Form and Function!
This knife has become the only knife in my kitchen. Despite a thinner blade, it works extremely well for the majority of my kitchen chopping slicing and dicing!I really live the rosewood handle, it looks very sleek and feels great to hold with a great balance to it. With proper care, it’ll be a knife to use for a long time.

Decent knife for the price
This knife is satisfyingly sharp to begin with, however it doesn't hold an edge particularly well. I personally find the knife a bit on the light side, but this is a point of preference and would be great for someone who likes a lighter knife. I also use a number of Global knives and would probably suggest that, on balance, spending that bit more on those is probably better value for money. However, if this is all you can stretch to, it's definitely worth a try.

Lovely knife
As with all victorinox knifes the steel is good holds a edge and looks good. The handles are not heavy hardwood as I though but still nice to look at and practical to use. If you are not bothered about the handle the traditional plastic is available in the same blade but a much lesser cost
