4 x Spectrum Automatic Energy Saving Dusk to Dawn Sensor Plug in Cool to Touch LED Night Light for Children's Room, Hallway, Stairs or Landings - Pink [Energy Class A+++]

I bought this light after reading the many positive reviews on Amazon. My newborn shares a room with me, though her cot is on the other side to me and quite a good distance from my bed. I wanted a nightlight to avoid switching on the main light or the lamp (which are both quite strong) during the light. It was more for my piece of mind if I'm honest, than for hers.In terms of aesthetics it is not far of from the image shown. The pink casing definitely shields what is probably quite a harsh white light. It is also lightweight and straight forward to use. I received it very promptly and had no issues whatsoever with the dispatcher.The downsides; though it is advertised a dusk till dawn, mine is constantly on when plugged in. I have attached a photo showing this. I suppose this is not a big deal, as you can just unplug it, but it is slightly annoying as this is one of the features that attracted me to the product. Unfortunately, it also does not fulfill the purpose in which I bought it. It is probably perfect to comfort children with night terrors but doesn't provide enough light for me to actually see my child in the darkness. Similarly, I have also attached a picture this. You will see this is not due to the proximity of the light to the cot as the is a plug socket less than two inches from it. It is just not strong enough for me to use. Note in the photo you can only see the first wooden bars closer to the base of the cot. Please be aware of these factors when purchasing.

+ Love the colour, I didn't want a boring white one and this light is very pink!+ We use it in the upstairs hallway at night, so there is some light for when we go to and from the bathroom.+ We've had it plugged in almost everyday for about 6 months and the bulbs seem to be still going strong.- For what we use it for it could have a brighter light. However, if I used it in my bedroom or if you need it for a kids bedroom you probably wouldn't want it brighter.Would I buy this again? Probably not for the hallway again, but if it was for a bedroom I definitely would.Hope this helps with your decision making :-)

just the right amount of light in a hallway at night. im an older person who has to get up quite a lot in the night, so thought this was a good idea for the hallway to the bathroom.. and I was not disappointed. its bright enough to see without putting the light on and a lovely pink/white light and is light sensitive so fades out in the morning.. and comes on at dusk.. really lovely little thing that's good for anyone of any age.. not just for the kids bedrooms.. !!!

I bought these lights for my two year old granddaughter when she stays over and am very happy with the quality and value of the product would highly recommend.

We have two of these and they are brilliant, great value for money and durable. We don't use the light sensor just switch it on and off at the plug.

I bought this as a replacement to one I broke and broadly happy with it. The fact it's a pink rather than blue light is of course a bonus in terms of sleep. My only challenge is that it is quite bright for a nightlight (we shield it a little with a box) and I'd ideally like something dimmer.

Liked them all ideal for through the night not to bright a lovely soft glow
