Works well and is a perfect fit for my 2013 GMC Sierra 3500HD. This is the part at the transmission, and will not fit at the steering column! Highly recommend it.

I picked up another brand of these for my suburban shift cable. I noticed right away that the material was quite soft and squished easily. Upon putting that one in the shift cable, the first time I came back after driving it, it had come off of the straight piece. And the suburban wouldn’t shift. It just didn’t hold on well enough because it wasn’t high-quality enough plastic. Enter the Doman brand. After reading all the great reviews I ordered this one, took that one out and was able to put this one in with my fingers and not heating it up. I could tell right away it was quite a bit stiffer and the plastic was higher quality. After getting it in the eyelet, I pushed it on the straight shaft and it had two solid clicks going in and would not pull back out except for great force. I knew right away that this was going to stay well and seated very durably. This is the one you want, don’t waste your money on time with the rest.
