I am using this with distilled water for my coffee maker. I taste a slight difference of less acidity, but it isn’t a big difference.

I'll admit it took me a while to get my hands on some distilled water in order to try out the Third Wave mineral sticks, but I wanted to do it properly. I was surprised at the small amount of minerals that went into the 1 gallon jug of distilled water that I bought, but it does give good results.We used it with our French press and a single origin coffee (Metropolis Honduras Honey). My husband and I both agree that it resulted in a smooth, mellow brew that didn't feel weak or thin.It's not something that we'll likely use on a regular basis, but we'll definitely be adding it to our camping kitchen supplies!
