This was a nice addition to my running vest. It keeps my hydration hose firmly in place during my runs. It was a little hard to get the clip over my hosing but it has been solidly in place once I did. I think that for under $10 this was a value for my money and I would recommend for anyone with a hydration vest or pack.

Great piece of kit. I have been moving the Bontrager magnet and tube from my hip pack across different backpacks and finally decided to just buy dedicated magnets for each. I used this with a camelback hose which is significantly thicker than the Osprey hose. I was able to easily make it fit by warming it with a heat gun for a moment then feeding the tube through. It's solid and fits perfectly now.

We lost one of these when we swapped packs and forgot to remove it before letting it out of our possession. This is a small thing that you don't miss until it's gone. It does work well to hold an Osprey straw in place. Since it's magnetic it's also quick-release when can be useful if you happen to put your arm through your pack strap the wrong way. I did this more than I should have. 🤐🤐 Attaching to the breast strap was easy. I advise attaching it to the dangling end so the breast strap cinching is less restricted. We carry whistles while we hike and the whistles managed to cling to the opposite side of the straw. That may not be an intended design function but we found this handy. I wish I could have bought just one but ... that may not be economical for the seller. Now I have 2 unique refrigerator magnets in case we ever loose track of another one. One star off just for the extra product I don't need, at least not right now.

Works great to hold the mouth piece of the bladder. The magnet holds it on the chest strap to keep it from moving around. I use this on all my camelbacks.

Great product and works as advertised. Very useful on a hike. but it does not fit around an insulated drink tube. I did find a workaround by using a heat gun to soften the plastic and expand it enough to make it work. But without doing that, there is no way to squeeze the insulated tube Into the narrow slot.

Objective Data: I am a very active Scoutmaster in my Troop (3 week-long+ summer camps this summer). My “day pack” is an Osprey Nova. I carry it as my day-pack, purse, book bag, all-around carrier of everything! I have never used a hydro-bladder as I find them tedious to clean & dry thoroughly. And I am pretty rough & tumble, so I’ve always been concerned about the possibility of rupture and flooding my pack along with any electronics that may be on-board. (I have also reviewed this item.). I didn’t even know this magnetic quick connect existed until it was recommended as a “customers also bought” selection. I am SO SO SO glad that I did!! One thing that I did not read closely was that the clip that holds the tube/straw part only accepts 1/4” tubing. Oops. That’s ok, a Scout is Thrifty and Necessity is the Mother of Invention!! A small bit of cordage and a simple square knot solves the issue: See Picture. I love this! The ease of use & simplicity! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

There is nothing more annoying than having a hydration bladder hose flopping around when you hike/run. I switch between packs a lot so I put these on all of my sternum straps. If I have extras I use them as fridge magnets until I need them.
