Q: how do i know its legitimate? It came in a silver box but it easily could have been dumped out and replaced with a fake precleanse. There wasnt a seal

It all depends on how much you use each time, a little of the product goes a long way. Pour into the palm of one hand and mix/rub with your other hand then apply to your face, work on the face with both hands to loosen excess grime, oil and or makeup. Dampen your hands with water and rework on your face. It will turn a milky color, because it is water soluble. Rinse
