This has been played with for many hours on many different occasions by my toddler. It was his favorite gift for his 3rd birthday!My only complaint is that buying additional color changing cars adds up fast!$ You may want to buy a few generic color changing cars or color changing Hotwheels to go along with this as this set only comes with 1 car. I've easily spent $100 so far to buy my son additional Pixar Cars color changers (Sally, Cruz, Mater & Jackson).

This was a HUGE hit for a four year old gift! The warm water changing the color of the car, seemed magical and it continue to be a favorite toy months later!

Great toy for grandchildren!!

My 3 year old grandson loves it. It's a bit messy with the water, and an adult needs to fill it with warm and cold water. I suggest a towel under it, if being used inside, and an ice cube makes the water cold enough.

Doesn't hold a lot of water. Messy to add more water. But overall a fun toy that my child loved.

It's almost as if toys like this are designed to take years off a parent's life. The whole color changing nonsense makes me insane. My son has earned this toy through a lot of behavioral wins the last few weeks (passing a swim test, going up a belt strip, getting camper of the week) and for us earning is a big motivator. This is the toy he chose. God help me. So like a moron I got it. It was a near instant regret. It was immediately annoying with the water. Cold water is not enough. It needs to be ICE water. Hot water is not enough, it needs to be HOTTT. What happens to cold water? It warms up. What happens to hot water? It cools down. Generally by the time the car has gone through maximum two cycles of color changing, "painting" buffing, drying whatever imaginative stuff this thing does, you need to replace the waters. My son does not tell me when this is needed he goes to sinks and does it himself. Water everywhere. Nearly every room of the first floor there were puddles of water. I gave him a little bad of crushed ice to keep the cold water cold, but theres really nothing to be done about constantly needing access to very hot water. Theres not only one, not two , but THREE little trays of water that spill and need to be emptied. I got this for him bc I felt that it was a good independent toy that he could talk to himself and be imaginative and play with for a long time in one session. It is the opposite. It is entirely a toy that a parent must be a part of from start to finish.We had this same problem with some car wash thing for these cars as well. I literally swore I would never get another one of these again and here I am two years later about to smash it into a thousand pieces. The truck is cute. The pretend buffer and painting studio idea is cute. But please stop making things that involve wattttteerrrrrrrrrr. And it always seems that the color changing is opposite. The hot water should be what changes the color and the cold water should be what makes back to normal. I hate this thing.
