Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 1-Quart Covered Straining Saucepan, Silver

Just what I wanted. Good quality stainless steel pot with a pour-on both sides and a drain-in lid. This pot is great for cooking and making mashed potatoes, and cooking macaroni, and other vegetables. It and easy to clean. The thing I like best is that I can mash the potatoes right in the pot and not have to use a bowl or worry about getting the non-stick coating from the pan in my mashed potatoes. The pan heats evenly, and the lid has a plastic top, making it easy to take off without getting burned. This is one of the only pans that I have that is not Non-stick, but this pan can do something that most of them can't. It can be put in a dishwasher if you like

I bought this because it is Farberware a product I know and trust. The last pot I bought from Farberware, I still have today.

I needed a pot to use on my new glass top stove and this is perfect. I like the drainage holes in the lid. I don't need to fined something to strain the foods.

Great pot that has a lot of uses, soups , steaming vegetables and pasta.

This is as good as my old farberware.

Perfect size to heat cans of sauce or smaller portions of item. Heats up quickly and evenly. The spouts on both sides of the pot make pouring liquids a breeze. The built in strainer on the lid comes in handy to strain veggies. Pot works well on my electric mirror stovetop. Definitely recommend this pot

I disgraced myself by finally burning up my 25 year old Farberware small saucepan. Bought this one to replace it as the size is so handyand was happily surprised to find that it is even better than my old, beloved one. The pouring spouts on each side are so handy for gravies, sauces and small meals sides. The lid even has a strainer if needed which ensures safety while straining liquids. The quality and weight are as good as my old one (hard to find that nowadays!) and it cleans up easily and beautifully. So happy I bought it!
