Here is the brutal truth about this product that isn't obvious on the front label: ​The "2000MG" is a Marketing Trick: The big number on the front refers to the weight of the powder, NOT the amount of Magnesium. If you look at the back, you actually get 449mg of Elemental Magnesium per serving. It's a decent dose, but calling it "2000mg" is deceptive. ​Contains Magnesium Oxide: Although it claims to be a "Complex" with Glycinate, the ingredients list shows it also contains Magnesium Oxide. Oxide is the cheapest form of magnesium with very poor absorption (around 4%). Good quality supplements use 100% chelated forms (like Bisglycinate) without cheap fillers. ​Verdict: It works fine as a basic supplement, but don't think you are getting 2000mg of pure magnesium. There are cleaner, 100% chelated options available for a similar price without the Oxide filler.
