Mech Rider: Solo Rules compatible with Lancer

Lancer is great. This product… is not. It’s 23 pages of the most generic solo ttrpg rules I’ve ever seen. Very basic advice, and almost no tables or tools of any kind. Asking $10 for this is insane. You can find countless solo supplements for free on itch.io that contain more useful info in 2 pages.On top of everything else, the printing is a joke. There are errors on nearly every page. Save your $10. This isnt remotely worth it.

I've recently gotten really into the Lancer TTRPG, and was hoping to find new resources in this book for both solo play and to potentially apply it to my games. Unfortunately, this book is barely 23 pages of the most generic Game Master advice I've ever seen. Reading this is like reading a buzzfeed article on "10 ways to improve your GM experience" and there's only 6 items on the list and half of them are "Have fun". There are a total of 3 tables in the book, only 1 of which I would say is actually useful and unique from commonplace resources found online. In short, I would not recommend this at all for anyone, it truly feels like a waste of time.

The product is full of typos, The solo play ruleset is more ideas on how to play solo then rules to help you play solo.

I really enjoy Lancer, but this is not worth $10. I have better quality, better edited and more detailed solo rules that were free add-ons to other systems.There is nothing here of any value. Even the picture on the cover is of incredibly low quality.I will refrain from purchasing any future books in for the lancer system.
