Working great so far. It occupies only one port on my laptop but delivers power, connects my USB-A web cam, connects my HDMI monitor, and allows me to connect to a wired gigabit ethernet connection - all at once! It even has spare ports for connecting another USB-A device and a USB-C device - neither of which I need to use right now. Plus, it can also accommodate MicroSD and SD cards. So the functionality is really, really good. No special setup or configuration is needed. Just plug in all of your devices, optionally attach your laptop USB-C power cord to the PowerDelivery (PD) port on the hub, and plug the hub's single USB-C cable into your laptop. All of the devices just work! The hub is solid and seems well built. It has a nylon-reinforced USB-C connection cable that should help minimize wear and tear. It is small enough to be tucked into a bag or backpack and even comes with soft carry case (assuming you don't want it to get scratched up or something). The hub does get a little warm under extended use but never too hot. And it only gets warm when actively being used by the laptop. (It is not warm when the laptop is off - even if left connected.) My only (nitpicky!) complaint is that the network activity light seems bright to me. So much so that I'm tempted to tape over it to cover most of it. The ethernet end of the hub points away from me but I can see the network activity out of the corner of my eye as the bright light reflects off other things on my desk. I know, very picky. That is probably a good sign if that is the only thing I find to improve on it. And a small label or piece of tape can easily fix that problem. All in all, this is really nice - providing lots of connectivity options, support for both monitor and network, and power delivery in a single hub. Is working well and super convenient. Cord could be longer. Well after 6 months one usb c Port has failed!! Amazon cannot replace; I understand their policy totally. Mfg should work with me instead of referring me to Amazon!! Not happy. Will not purchase from this mfg again!!!!!!

Works great

Am using this Hub on my Dell XPS 13. Runs perfectly on all ports (including the ethernet). Very high quality item with a very professional feel and look - was not expecting that so very happy. Recommended product.

If you find that you could use a few more ports on your laptop (HDMI, ethernet, SD and TF card reader, 2 USB-3, and a pass-through USB C, this is for your. It gives you all of the proceeding in one small, portable package. The only disadvantage is that you need a USB C port to start with. If all you have is USB 2 or USB 3 this won't work and even if you could hook it up you wouldn't get the extras because USB 2 and USB 3 don't have the necessary speed or power. It even comes with a travel pouch. The only disadvantage I could find is that the "cord" is only about 7" long (I have a USB-C port on the back of my desktop). If you travel and need to connect your laptop to many devices this will cover most of the bases for you.
