My laptop audio was way too quiet even on full volume. With this speaker I now get much better audio, the tone is richer and deeper (and louder!). I clipped it to the top of my laptop screen and it’s perfect. Very happy with it

I bought this for my wife's birthday and had all fingers crossed I hadn't got it wrong! I didn't!! The speaker is small, neat and quite unobtrusive. So very simple to use via USB or Bluetooth. My wife works from home and hates a cluttered desk so this is perfect. It was as simple to set up - just plug and play. The sound is very clear and strong. It was on the highest setting when she tried it and the desk was vibrating with the music. She has also used it for phone calls and they were as clear as anything. She is very happy and so am I. Great piece of equipment altogether.

I use Equalizer APO to apply EQ - see screenshot for my settings. It basically needs some treble boost (or cut down the low and mid). Really good once this is done, otherwise it sounds muffled.It also clamps on to the monitor very well.3-month update: Bluetooth pairing mode persists until a device is connected via Bluetooth. This means, when in USB mode, anyone can connect to it. It actually happend - my neighbour connected to it by mistake and loud music blasted through it. It's a major design flaw. The solution is to forget about the USB mode. Just make sure it stays connected to a device that you own via Bluetooth. That stops the Bluetooth interface from staying in pairing mode.

i purchased the pro version sound is very clear sits on my monitor for my PC it gives strong bass sound and on music it gives really clear bass sound no distortion when volume is high i recommend and has strong clip to place onto my monitor and not take space ideal purchase for meThe pro model there is a white button for sound boost which makes a slight Difference but every time you boot up you have to reset i would recommend if you want a slight improvement on sound you get from monitor speakers'

whilst the speaker appears to be of decent quality, the power output of 15 watts claimed is completely incorrect - it's 3 watts when powered via USB A connectivity and 5 watts when powered via USB C connectivity. A completely misleading product description and one which is surely in contravention of Trades Description legislation in the UK !!

I could not be happier. I use to play video and videoconferencing. The sound quality is great, loud enough and the microphone also works amazing.

Poor sound. Worse than sound through laptop.

I only want to use this on USB as the "now connected" message if using Bluetooth is beyond irritating.However, it randomly connects to an unknown Bluetooth source - must be one of my neighbours as no other equipment is on in our house at the time!Pressing the multifunction button twice disconnects it but after a random amount of time it reconnects itself to the unknown Bluetooth source.Even fully disconnecting it does not stop this issue.

Bien, mais moins puissante, vibrant parfois : je devais filtres les basses.BT : necessite l'utilisation de l'USB pour alimenter.J'ai essayé BT avec l'USB de l'ordi servant d'alim. Pas de latence.Pas essayé la fonction téléphone. Mais je ne ai pas acheté la CA-2890PRO pour cela.Je l'ai utilise depuis peu. Mais je n'ai pas l'impression d'un objet qui ne tiendra pas.Astuce : Montée en dessus de l'écran, si je visionne couché, elle le rabat car, c'est effectivement du lourd. La solution semble la poser juste sur mes larges pec', avant l'ordi tenu sur la tablette de choc'... C'est mieux que l'inverse car le son n'a pas d'écran faisant écran !Encore mieux, la placer en appui pec', l'ordi avancé pour la caler et avoir l'arrière dégagé pour les basses...Dommage : mode d'emploi en anglais. Je propose juste la traduction pour les boutons...

Sound and mic is fine, I got this connected with my monitor, thinking Speaker will output sound from all source, I connected my PS5 and it fails to output any sound, it only works with by macbook.

Worth paying the extra buck for the quality of this speaker. I recommend it over the cheaper options unless you are not concerned about sound quality.

I rarely write reviews, but this product absolutely deserves one.I bought the Cyber Acoustics CA-2890PRO, and after several hours of testing it with Zoom, ChatGPT Voice, Perplexity, YouTube, phone calls, and music playback, I'm honestly amazed at what you get for around $40.The sound quality is outstanding. It's much louder than I expected, with clear, rich audio that completely replaced my monitor speakers. I mainly listen to podcasts, YouTube, and music, and I'm genuinely enjoying listening to music on this speaker. It has more than enough volume for my home office, and the sound is clean and surprisingly full.The microphone is equally impressive. During my testing, I was able to walk about 8 feet away and continue speaking in a normal voice. It still picked me up clearly, even with a fan running in the room. Voice conversations felt natural, and I had no problems holding two-way conversations during Zoom meetings, phone calls, or while using ChatGPT Voice and Perplexity.I also considered much more expensive speakerphones, including the Dell SP3022, Dell SP325, and the Jabra Speak2 40. After using the CA-2890PRO, I honestly don't regret my decision at all. For my needs, it performs far above its price and easily competes with products in the $80 to $120+ range.One thing worth mentioning is the monitor clip. My monitor has a curved back, so I am able to mount it—but honestly, that wasn't my intention anyway. I simply placed it on my desk underneath my monitors, and it fits perfectly without taking up much space. In fact, I prefer it there because it keeps my desk looking clean while still projecting excellent sound.Setup was truly plug-and-play, and using the USB-C connection gives it plenty of power.This is one of those rare products that makes you wonder why you'd spend two or three times as much on something else. Excellent speakers, an excellent microphone, outstanding value, and easily one of the best tech purchases I've made this year. Highly recommended!
