A bit fiddly but excellent quality
I loved the idea of being able to vary from 2 to 2000 on this filter as it seemed madness to buy a different filter for each level, however, after ordering I read a few reviews saying that variable ND filters often have problems with 'X' markings and were to be avoided. This isn't the case at all with this K&F filter. Right through the range there is a uniform darkness across the whole filter. Can be a bit fiddly because the grip around the edge is so small, but you're not going to need to change it a lot anyway so not a big issue.

Excellent
It does the job just fine. No colour cast that I can see which is impressive for a filter at this price. I am happy with my purchase.

Can't fit sun hood
My lens takes a 77mm filter which this is but it needs a 82mm lens cover and I can't get my sun hood over the filter,so I had to send back. But I found the product to be good quality and the after sales to be excellent.

Not ND 2000
I'm unsure about the 5 star reviews here. At best it's a 6-7 stop ND filter.I did several tests with several cameras/lenses and several focal lengths, at max density there's the dreaded 'x pattern' especially on wide angle lengths, it improves to some extent at 35-40mm, so I had to turn the density down.At 1000 shutter speed without the filter, I could only go down to 1/15 - 1/8s with the filter on - that's not a 10 stop, and that is with a push otherwise I get the 'x pattern'.Some reviewers mentioned there was no colour cast, I can confirm there's certainly a slight yellowish shift but correctable. Sharpness is very good to excellent, so quite acceptable in my opinion.I don't know how I feel about this filter, really, I wouldn't say I'm disappointed especially given it's price but I feel I'm underwhelmed as I was hoping for more. I think describing it as adequate is fair especially if you're on a budget or don't want to go near max strength.

My go to filters
I’ve been using these filters for years they are great quality and over time the are cheap enough to replace when they get scratches, picture quality is great and they take your filmmaking to the next level
