Labeda Gripper Asphalt Outdoor Inline Roller Hockey Wheels with Ceramic Bearings

Quality is good enough for my purposes. I made a nail sweeper out of a wooden 2 x 4 and a broom handle. Needed wheels. Reviews for shop PU wheels were decidedly mixed, so I settled on rollerblade wheels. Took one to a hardware store to fit bolts and washers as spacers. Like I said, good enough for my purposes, but not tested for actual inline skates. I expect that they would be perfectly good as they are indistinguishable from wheels on my old rollerblades.

I bought the LaBeda Gripper Roller Hockey Wheels with ceramic bearings to replace the worn-out wheels on my old Mission skates, and I couldn’t be happier. The install was easy, and the size was a perfect match for my offset. The orange wheels look sharp right out of the box, and you can feel the durability and quality immediately. These are outdoor wheels, and the grip on asphalt is excellent—no slipping when making quick turns, but still plenty of speed. The ceramic bearings make them roll incredibly smooth and quiet compared to the stock ones I had before. Honestly, it feels like I have a brand-new pair of skates again. Great value, highly recommend if you want to upgrade your old pair instead of buying new ones!

I would prefer the wheels to be sold without the cheap bearings at a reduced cost. The wheels have great traction on the asphalt even in damp conditions, which is important for me because I skate at times when the pavement is wet and/or damp. The bearings do not roll as good as my other bearings so unfortunately they just go to waste. Great Wheels, Five Stars. Minus one star for packaging with bearings that I paid for and will not use.

I've used Labeda roller blades all my life for indoor and outdoor roller hockey. Buying these were a no brainer for me. The only difference is that they now use ceramic bearings instead of the old steel ball bearing. Don't know if they will last as long as the steel.

Not Ceramic Bearings and Different Wheel Sizes. I guess these guys can't figure out the difference between 75mm and 80mm. They gave me three 75mm and five 80mm wheels. The bearings are junk and these were not ceramic. Plus I have to pay for return shipping. What a rip!

Great wheels! Junk bearings! I wouldn't even try doing serious skating on those bearings. They sound like they have rusted even if oiled and have so much play that the wheels will rattle in the their chassis. Stay away from these!
