Strix 4080 super, the best gpu I've ever used!
So what more can I say? It's the bedt gpu I've ever used. It's the best temps of high end flagship gpus. It's one of the most silent also. All cards make slight noise when at high fps or being pushed very hard but 90% of the time I can't even tell this thing is on unless I get close to it. It performs so well and hasn't missed a step/beat. It's absolutely my most favorite gpu I've ever owned. Not to mention for a 4080 super it has massive OC abilities. The boards power limit is actually 420 unlike the tdp which is 320. Most gpus don't go much higher some can OC and be pushed to 350 some 370 this one can be OC to 420! So the poerr slider has an extta 30%+ in it. My clocks were able to go above 3000mhz and keep in mind mine wasn't the OC model. The OC model doesn't matter all they do is raise the clocks by like 70 to 90mhz out of the box and use that profile/bios. It's nothing you can do that to any one you buy out of the box any strix that is. Just OC is slightly even the new auto OC from nvidia will do it for you lol. Point is I got good silicon on a none OC edition and it does OC better then most of the OC editions I've seen. I've gained 10% extra performance out of it from my testing. 10% more fps on a 40series is pretty big. Sometimes even more I've seen as high as 15% just depends on the game. I did put it back to normal because I don't really need to push it like that but it was a very fun test!Save the money get the none OC tuf or strix if you can find one which is very hard to do. Then just enjoy the best cards on the market 😉.

Robust GPU for the price point
So you're considering upgrading your GPU. There's plenty of options around, but gosh darn, those prices are steep! Is a modern GPU really worth the expense?Well, it depends...If you're the average computer user and like to watch movies or do some social media posting, with occasional email and web browsing, then no. This GPU is severely overkill. It would be overpriced and you would never utilize the immense list of features and capabilities it offers. Could be more beneficial investing in an Intel GPU if you really want to upgrade your setup and stay ahead of the obsolescence avalanche. If you're a gamer, however - or perhaps a video editor, or 3D CGI creator, or Videographer content creator, then this GPU, the ASUS TUF Gaming RTX4080 16GB might be a good fit for you. Yes, it's expensive, but it's a powerful and vastly capable card. As someone who does photo/video/audio restoration and conversion, this GPU runs major circles around my previous GPU (and RTX2060). I can render photo enhancements almost instantly, and render videos in a fraction of the time (especially using nVidia's increasingly popular AV1 codec - exclusive to the 4000 series RTX GPUs).And gaming? Fuggedaboudit...... I can max out every setting in Cyberpunk 2077 @ 4K resolution and this thing eats it up like candy - even in the most graphically demanding areas of the game - and still gets at least 90-100+fps. Same with every other game I've thrown at it so far (not a small list of RTX games, either). Game after game after game, and this GPU never balks. It just powers through each one with flying colors. So why not get the RTX4070? None of the 4070 models really push the limits like the 4080. Are they not worth it? By no means - the 4070 cards are also capable GPUs in their own right. They just don't do quite enough, in my opinion, to justify the cost. What about the RTX4090? Quite simply because they don't produce enough power over the 4080 to justify their cost, either. And they suck significantly more power than the 4080 - without significant differences in capabilities.Simply put, the RTX 4080 - specifically the ASUS TUF Gaming 16GB GPU hits ALL the sweet spots for me. It's just the finest GPU I've ever had the pleasure of owning and using. And if you're a content creator like me, your revenue should easily justify the cost of this beast GPU, considering the amount of time you'll same rendering material.Do I recommend this GPU? 100%. Buy one before they're all gone - and the prices spike again.(Also, I do not work for nor am I sponsored by any company. This is my own personal, honest opinion on this product, as a small business owner and content creator.) Hope the info helps! Happy shopping!

Another gem Graphics card
Its another huge upgrade in Graphics power and efficiency. I had a GTX 1080 fews year back, and when I got the card, I was blown away by its cool and quiet power.Got the GTX 2070 Super a few years after that and it was decent.Upgraded to a GTX 3080 12Gb 15 months ago and it was a good card but a little power hungry. This RTX 4080 card is a beast plainly. Its silent, it cranks out frames under full load at around 230 watts. The efficiency and the power it provides is quite amazing. I called it the 2nd coming of the GTX 1080.I stuck with AMD for many years and I would have no problem trying out there Graphics cards and processors but after nvidia released the 1080 I was blown away. So if it aint broken don't fix it.The 4080 is a superior card. Can be pricey though. However with all that said I have had some driver issues or some corruption in my OS. hard to say. The first 2 games I tried to play wouldn't even load up, which was quite shocking. Iords of the fallen, I eventually got it to fly. I have yet to get Lies of P up and running, I am just going to assume its on my end. Heard some similar complaints about both games at load up. The card cant be blamed for that. Usually Nvidia drivers and new games are flawless but not so much here. Still, I will call it happen stance. 5 Stars.
