My tear goes through "the north face" logo. i was thinking putting it inside the panel as it will cover the logo, will this work?

Hi - yes - might be a bit fiddly to get it neatly inside without down sticking to the adhesive, but no reason why that approach wouldn't work. All the best Toby

Has anyone washed their jacket after applying the patch? Did it withstand the wash and stay on?

The patches are brilliant however I have not done the wash test yet. I am due to as it's a coat for school, so if you can wait a day or two I will let you know
