I love baking but wanted to make something different and this book looked appealing.I didn’t realise it was American and didn’t fancy messing about with cup measurements, thankfully the author has also added grams to make it easier. The first recipe I tried was the Pumpkin & Chocolate chip bread. This went down a storm in my house, very tasty and moist. Could be used as a pudding with cream or custard. The cookie recipes are great and the many recipes in the book look mouth watering.The recipes are very easy to follow so great for the novice or experienced baker.

Absolutely wonderful book. So many yummy treats to bake, I didn't know what to make first! Although the recipes are in American cup measurements, the ingredients are also listed in grams, so very easy to follow. I don't think there are any ingredients used that we can't easily get hold of here in England. There are some beautiful photos in this book too. I like a book to have a picture of each finished recipe, and this doesn't disappoint. The recipes are divided into different categories, e.g. breakfast, cookies, candy & sweet snacks etc. there's even a healthier choices category. I love this book and am gradually working my way through it!

I bought this book having read some of the recipes online, the book does not disappoint! If you love peanut butter, love baking (but can't quite get the baked consistency correct!) then this book is for you. She gives such precise instructions and tips, which are so easy to follow a child could do it! No more gooey, in the wrong way, brownies, over baked cookies or hard cakes. You will want to bake every item in this book again and again and again.

Have tried 2 recipes so far. The double chocolate cookie with caramel centre which was really good but shook the sea salt of the top off the finished cookie because I didn't like it. Personal taste really. Your hands get really messy but the end product is worth it. The second recipe was the chocolate brownie which was great but the instructions missed out when to put in the cups of chocolate chunks. I put them in last. It is written by an American women so I am glad she put weight measures in as well as, for instance, sticks of butter or margarine. Would definitely make more of the recipes but some are really sweet so maybe for a special treat.

Fab cookery book with great recipes and good clear instructions. Have made a couple of recipes so far and both have turned out well if the empty plates were anything to go by.
