Please its not compatible for my item

The wand on our Dyson broke and this was the perfect replacement.

Item doesn't work. After diagnosing with a known functional one, found that this was the problem as to why our brush wasn't working. Outside of the return window. Wouldn't buy again.

I need to edit this review……. Am no longer certain that this problem is all in the wand. I checked the head again yesterday and found two things…… one there is already a good sized tear on the hose where the part of the head moves around so much to allow for easy turns and if I hold still and just force the vacuum wand back and forth without actually moving the head just changing the angle the head stops working and the light goes out. So my rage against the wand may be at least partially misdirected. I think this is a warning that after market parts sometimes don’t work on Dyson . The first replacement head was wonderful for years. Then I started have this off/on problem, noticed how loose the wand was and ordered the wand. The problem continues. I gave up yesterday and bought a new Dyson. I still swear they are the best vacuums but may stay with actual Dyson parts from now on. Prior to edit- I bought this wand in December of 2024. A few weeks into it the brush drive and lights started turning off when the vacuum was lowered to allow it to go under a piece of furniture and then in a few more weeks the head started turning off when I just pushed the vacuum and pulled it back. I changed the battery and that had no effect . The head was only a few months old when this issue started. All I have to do is take my finger off the trigger and then restart it. But it gets maddening to have to do it 20-25 times in one session. The wand is loose and I believe it does not fully connect allowing for the power to the brush to stop over and over.
