Great product for a great price! Grateful for it.
(Words are starred to show what I'm using as training words)We get a lot of use out of this backpack!! Our kitten is 8 months old and fits very well in it. I try to get her to climb into her *backpack* on her own, when she wants to go *outside*. It's been chilly out, so there hasn't been a reason to use the fan. The zippers are sturdy and slide smoothly.Lifting it, it's surprisingly heavy until I get it on my back and then I'm fine.Setup: Since the bottom pad is covered in polyester canvas, I'm concerned it won't clean easily but I'll update when the time comes. Putting it together was both straightforward and confusing! I wasn't sure how to get the cat in without the clamshell halves coming apart each time, and then discovered a second 2-way zipper, closer to the straps. That made it much easier to open and invite babycat to climb in on her own, because it's just a flat flap folding down at the back.In use: The only issue with how it works is that if you bounce when you walk, the cat can bump their head. She also bumps her head when we bend down to take it off gently- not ideal. All in all, excellent value for money and a really great product. It's really well-made. Not sure if or how the issues I mentioned can be resolved, so I'm giving 5 stars. I genuinely didn't even think about mentioning these things except that the review prompted me to.

Love It!
Got this for my kitten because I would like to get her used to it now so we can take her hiking and other places with us this summer!! I liked the fact that it had a light and fan! The light is fine but honestly the fan doesn't blow very well (but I wasn't expecting a full size fan LOL and I'll probably end up upgrading the fan anyway). There are plenty of different ventilation areas in this carrier. I love the way it fits on me like a regular backpack too! It has two zippers! One holds the back to the front of the carrier and one opens the back of the carrier so you can easily put your kitty (or very small dog like Chihuahua) in! It's a great little pet carrier and I got it on sale so I ended up getting like $30 off! And paying what I would have for a cheap junk one! I love the different color options they give you too, obviously I chose the pink/grey. Can't wait til this summer when we go hiking!

Kaiju Loves It
What do you do when your kitten has more energy than god?...You learn to get him out of the house with you. A lot.Kaiju loves this backpack. If I pull it out he gets excited because he knows he's going somewhere with me. I unzip it, set it down, and seconds later there's a little white creature inside. I didn't even have to train him to do this. He just loves the backpack that much.As his owner, I do too. We get compliments at the vet all the time about how LOVELY this backpack is. They love how sturdy and well ventilated it is. That the window is tinted to help protect him from the sun. That there's a little fan inside to help keep him cool, and we all like to talk about how spoiled he is for riding around in such a great backpack....There's only one problem. He's getting too big. :') Which, mind you, is no flaw of the product! So five stars all the way. I'd give it ten if I could. More so, I'd give anything to have it in a slightly larger size now he's almost a year old and I don't trust any of the others on the market to keep him so comfortably contained as this one.If you're considering getting this one, I couldn't recommend it more. Just be wary if you're cat is around the 15 lbs range or bigger, this one probably isn't for you. (Kai's currently about 12lbs and still growing)

Reasonable pet bag.
It's a nice bag. Assembly was straightforward and didn't take more than a minute or two. The dome acrylic window is nice though I don't think if uses any tint. It's more like the material was dyed to that shade like when it was in its base liquid form then of course hardened to the bubble shape. I think it will offer some relief from the loss of heat trying to peirce through the material but in constant light (which I don't recommend) it would become unbearable for your little companion. The fan is quiet for sure but that's because it's weak . . . Using your index sitting on top of the fan output you'll feel it's "feel-able" distance at 1-2inches worth of force being pumped through the unit. I would've appreciated more if it pushed out a whole fingers length of air but I'll take what I can get from the small fan motor. The ample amount of ventilation around the bag should be more than enough to not trap too much heat. The light source is acceptable as from our buddies perspective, I surmise the light being a tad to bright considering how close it is to his eyes. In darker area, we could see our little guy pretty clearly. The hardcase structure was the main selling point for us, that and it looked like a good size for a small dog. Though the floor for the bag has no padding, just a cardboard like base to give the bottom structure as well so we added a small cushion. Think we'll add a few personal touches to make it cuter.
