Look Inside Things That Go (International Edition)

My two boys are 2 and 4 and both love this book! The little one likes to open the hidden parts and the big one is very interested in the content. The perfect book style to read to both of them!

Our almost-3 year old loves this book and we love it too. There are a ton of great tabs to peel back, and there are even tabs under the tabs, which is always fun. It covers all types of transportation and even has a few fun little jokes for the adults. The line for the airplane bathroom is my favorite. Great for a gift and will keep us busy for a while as he gets older.

ADORABLE book! My son loves books and anything that “goes” so this is perfect! I love all the tabs to pull out, and so does he!

This is such a cool book for little ones who are into things that go. My two year old son is obsessed with cars, trucks, tractors, boats, and planes so I thought this would be perfect. Right now he is into the flaps (there are so many flaps) and pointing at all of the vehicles, but there is definitely lots more for him to grow into.

I give this four stars because it is a very nice book. Sturdy like all Usbornebbooks and a great concept that can b hard to find well-done. However it falls short of my expectations and of its potential: thus not five star worthy. I was so excited to have finally found a detailed exploration of vehicles still geared toward the younger set- I expected a peek at some of the details of how these things that go work (perhaps more like the book of how things work by the same company). Instead, what we got was more of the same monotonous info you can pretty much find in all these repetitive "truck books". Tractors plowing with one or two attachments like a combine harvester mentioned with a bit of detail; spots to lift up to see the inner cab of some trucks; flaps to show that train cars carry different type of stuff... and so on. If you don't have the typical boy library of this stuff this is a solid start. BUT don't expect anything exceptional or too much new here. My search for books for my toddler son that expand our horizons and keep him (and me, as you can tell) interested continues.

Soooooo many flaps!!! Keeps my boys busy for a long time!

My 3.5 year old son loves this book. He loves all the flaps and finds it super interesting. I've already bought 2 more to give as gifts.
