🩺 Pinpoint your patients' nerve health with precision and safety!
Neurotips are sterile, single-use neurological examination pins designed for use with the Neuropen device. They deliver a standardized 40g pressure to safely test touch and sharpness sensation in small nerve fibers, featuring red and white tips for enhanced peripheral vision testing. Their semi-sharp design reduces skin puncture risk, making them ideal for sensitive patients while ensuring hygienic, cross-infection-free assessments.

Neurotips gets their Attention
Most of my patient do not like the Neurotip tool because they say it is too sharp. They felt like I was using a lance device in pricking their fingers. Most complaints the Neurotips hurt while testing for sharp and dull sensation in my neuro exam.

Many can't be used at all
I think that this is a very helpful tool to test for sensory deficits but many of them get stuck with the round plastic head when you try to take it apart. Frequently the whole metal pin will come out but not the pointy end. Then you have to use a new one and waste the other. It happens frequent enough for me to be writing about it.
