Hercules DJLearning Kit MK II including the DJ Inpulse 200 MK II controller, HD45 headphones and DJ Monitor 32 speakers

I’m really happy with the Hercules DJ Impulse MKII. It works exactly as expected and even better for the price! It’s compact but has everything you need to mix, practice, and have fun at home. I also love that I can control my speaker volume directly from it — super convenient. The design looks great, it’s lightweight, and feels solid. For what it costs, it’s honestly one of the best options out there. Totally recommended!

Plug and Play action!!! I didnt have to do anything special. It is exactly what I wanted and expected.

Value for money: As a total beginner to mixing looking for a good way to dip my toes in the water I feel like this is a good bang for your buck. It doesn't have all the fancy things you might eventually want, but it'll get you started. Pros: -Gets the job done, has all the essentials for getting started mixing, and the controls are pretty intuitive and easy to learn. -The beat matching guide lights are a neat addition, and sometimes useful. If you have no idea what beat matching is, or if you are determined to prove your worth by doing it manually instead of hitting the sync button then they are very handy. - Works great with the DJUCED software - I love that I am able to sync my SoundCloud with it and stream music through that. So much easier than downloading a ton of songs. - If your computer is beefy enough to handle it the Stem isolation options are fun to mess around with. Cons: -Doesn't have a mid EQ knob. I'm not really sure why, perhaps to save on cost? It's not really necessary, but I do find myself missing that extra bit of control, especially during transitions. - I have had a bit of trouble with the jog wheels. They only really work if you have your finger on the top of the platter and on the edge, and not very well from the sides. Manual beat matching has proven difficult because of this. Need to play around with the sensitivity settings a bit. - Not compatible with Rekordbox. The DJUCED software works fine, but as a fan of Rekordbox I was a bit disappointed by this. - Only has 4 pads for each deck. Again, this is more of a value for your money type of deal, but it is a bit frustrating to be able to set 8 hot cue points in DJUCED, but only have access to 4 at a time. Overall: If you've been interested in mixing, and want to give it a shot before totally committing to a big fancy mixer, or just mixing on a budget, this will get the job done. It doesn't have a lot of QOL features that you get with the more expensive models, but you can still enjoy it.

D I was very satisfied. I am just starting DJ.. easy to work with, but the software comes with I would say it’s pretty complicated but if you get used to it. There’s only one paragraph of English instructions.. that would be my only complaint

Beginner DJ, it was so easy learning with this and it didn't take long, the software comes with lessons. Getting ready for my first set. Some things I didn't know: you need a laptop with AVX in the cpu, I have an HP AMD Ryzen 5, you also need an adapter so that the sound can be separated from the speakers and your headphones. There's also an option to buy it with the speakers if you don't already have your own. And you may need to purchase and download a Virtual Audio Cable. (Everything except the VAC was purchased on Amazon.)

First off, this thing requires that you load a bunch of drivers up to your computer that will slow your computer down. Also, they offer you Serato DJ Lite software, which is also garbage. I use Dex3 PCDJ Red, and this mixer is supposed to be compatible with it, but it was not. However, the new mark DJ controller I got at the same time I got this works wonderfully! Also, when you try to use Serato DJ light software with this mixing board, it cuts off the speakers that you are already using, and you have to then go to all the trouble and complication of installing more software so you could use the speakers that you were already using through your computer. This is perhaps the worst DJ controller I have ever seen in my life! Also, the USB cord that you plug into your computer, does not disconnect from the controller. It's sticking out of the back of the controller, so that means every time you package this controller up, you run the risk of breaking that cable over time. It should unplug from the controller just like it unplugs from your computer, but it is a permanent part of the controller, so when that cable goes bad, as all cables eventually do, you are left with a controller that is now worthless. This should never be purchased! Plus, you never want to trust any vendor that takes a month to return your money.

Bought this to learn how to mix some songs and still have yet to be able to use it due to they recommend that you do a registry edit on your system to change the performance?? i think is the reason, not too sure about that and im not tech savy to feel comfortable in doing so because you also had to do a password backup to external flash drive just for safe measure as well as you have to buy a subscription to the program so it cost money to use the product effectively. It is easy to set up but no directions included so you have to download the software. Some basic instructions were printed on the inside cover of the box on where to go for the drivers and software..just wish I knew how to do the registry edit which seemed simple but I couldn't download it in the location I was visiting at the time had no internet connection, so had to wait but learned that I needed to do the registry edit and password back up before installing and I was too nervous that I would not be able to log into my other apps needed to be able to host karaoke without any issues with software so I have not been able to use it..Hopefully i will be able to get it all figured out soon!

Excelente controlador a pesar de su tamaño es muy bueno funcionando perfecto en Windows y Mac yo lo ocupo con serato y suena muy bien estoy contento llego en perfecto estado aunque la paqueteria de Amazon lo entrego a un vecino sin consultarmelo lo cual fue un momento desagradable. Pero el producto excelente

First impulse 200 is pretty good and popular dj controller. Price is a bit high but worth it in my opinion more bang for your buck than the other options in my opinion though I don’t think it’s worth more than a couple hundred. Great price though and I like the idea of the tutorials, really helpful for beginners like me who don’t know what they’re doing. Overall, good bang for your buck. It’s portable and easy to use. ( they don’t mention that you have to create an account for djuced). My only complaint is that it doesn’t support YouTube or Spotify
