A must-have for Steam Deck owners
A solidly made case and cover. I find this to be far more practical compared to the original Steam Deck carrying case which is bulkier. With this case, I can just pop off the cover and start gaming, and snap it back on without worrying about damaging the Deck when I'm done. The original carrying case would probably offer more protection if you do drop the Deck, but this is perfect if you're careful and want something convenient to pop into your backpack and head out. The package comes with a table stand as well - it's not the sturdiest as it's made of some sort of rigid silicone (or feels like it), and with the case on, the Deck doesn't really fit well into the JSAUX USB-C dock/hub. Not a big deal for the extra protection and the case is relatively easy to take off safely anyway. The case also has an integrated kickstand, which I have found to be useful when I'm playing in dock mode and connected to a Ugreen USB-C hub that I connect to my TV and use a PS5 controller to play Steam games. Alternatively, I can also connect using wireless (2.4ghz) or bluetooth keyboard and mouse and play games like Halo Wars and other RTS games and play them off the TV in my living room. There's also a silicone strap that attaches neatly to the back of the case, which I use to secure my USB-C hub when docked (to put less strain on the USB connector on the Deck) or a small power bank to slow down battery drain when playing on the go for extended periods. I have not yet found a small enough power bank that is capable of fast charging (45W) the Steam Deck that fits on the back of the Deck. In short, very happy with the purchase, and with Amazon's return policy, there's no reason not to give this one a try

Great machine !!!
A beast of a machine. I just love it. Even if it is not the most powerful handheld console on the market, it still holds the top spot in my mind. I have been using it for a couple of months now, I find it very pleasant to use and ergonomic. Games run smoothly (some require the settings to be tuned to run without 'freezing'). I would recommend it 100%. Note than handheld does not necessarily equate to small.

Very good but a little pricey
The fit was perfect and the quality is very good. My only concern was the price because I purchase Skull & co with full grip and cover half of its price and it works very very similar with almost same quality and usability

Feels like vanilla
You can’t even tell it’s a shell case, fits perfectly and with the protective cover gives you more confidence of throwing the deck around

This is a FANTASTIC case. I take my Steam Deck to work and play on my lunch breaks. I have a relatively small bag, so the full Valve case didn't fit. However, with this case it fits PERFECTLY! With the front cover, it protects it well and I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched. All the moddable attachments are also really nice to have for an external battery, etc. The stand works super well, very sturdy with no flex what do ever. 8 also have the JSAUX dock that I use at home, and the steam deck still fits in there perfectly with this case on. The grips where you hold the steam deck are very comfortable and don't let it slide out of your hands. Pulling off the front cover is a bit tough, I do wish there was an easier way to detach rather than peeling it off aggressively everytime. But putting the cover on is a piece of cake, the fits are perfect when closing it up. It's relatively thick, which I like. I have not dropped it so I can't really comment on how well it'd protect a dro. I have no complaints what so ever, it is absolutely worth the money!

I want to quickly point out a few bad points because they are honestly quite small in the grand scheme of things: - The kick stand drops down a little bit when you're holding the steam deck. This isn't a big deal, but instead of sitting flush to the deck, gravity pulls it down about 1cm away from the back of the case. This doesn't appear to affect the kickstands ability when you are actually using it though. - The trigger buttons are still slightly exposed. I feel like this is one of the most common negatives I see for this case, but honestly I am not convinced it is actually THAT big of a deal. I definitely would not feel worried at all about the triggers if I was just throwing this into a bag (I use a bag with a dedicated Steam Deck slot though so this is even less of a concern for me personally). - I don't know if this is a good thing or bad thing, but the front case is a little awkward to get off because it sticks to the front of the deck so well. The way I end up taking it off, is resting the deck on my lap and then holding both ends with my fingers and using my thumbs to push the front case up and off the deck. This can sometimes end up with the front case flipping up and away from you so you have to be careful not to fling it on the floor. The good things: - Everything feels study and the fit is fantastic. - It doesn't feel bulky at all and when I am using the deck you don't even notice that there is a case on it. - The front cover fits really well and is very study in place. Absolutely no worries that it will accidentally fall off, the analogue sticks are well protected and so you don't have to worry about them breaking in your bag from being pushed and held in one direction. The triggers are also really well protected, even if they aren't completely covered. - There is a cut out for the charging port that allows for those 90 degree angle charging cables to be used. Or just about any charging cable you have really. The kickstand works really well and it feels nice and stable when it is resting up. There is only one angle you can set it to, but I feel like it is a decent angle personally. - The volume and power buttons are covered up for protection but easily able to be pressed. - The accessory I got to hold a power bank or similar on the back of the case works really well. I tested it with my INIU 25000mAh power bank and it holds it in place well and feels nice and safe. The fastening can be a little fidgety but it gives me more confidence that they will stay in place as a result so I guess it is a positive rather than negative. I cannot test the cover that came with it for a Dock, because I don't have a dock to test it with, but I assume based on the rest of the product that this is also good quality. Conclusion: Overall, it is pretty close to perfect in my opinion. It is a lot cheaper than the Killswitch case which is the other major one that most people recommend, and I don't think there is likely to be much difference in quality (It sounds like the Killswitch case will be marginally better, but it is also more than double the price) If you want a good quality case but don't want to break the bank, then I highly recommend this case.
