This is much better than the cheaper ones, the app is very user friendly. but also I have to shout out the customer service from victron energy was fantastic, I was unsure of a few things and the customer service response was above what I'd have expected, very helpful

Great solar charger.I bought it along with a 100w solar panel to keep the starter battery charged up on my motorhome.I love bluetooth facility, the fact I can see how much life is in my battery & how much power the solar panel is pumping in to it.I would definitely reccomend it.

This is a great controller. The Bluetooth option is worth having as it gives so much information about the charge process. It did updates to the firmware when it was installed too. So far it has worked well. I had a non brand mppt controller previously and the improvement I'm terms of harvesting power is significant. Very happy as it is running my pond pump from solar and battery.

I was very happy with this unit until last week, I can no longer fetch the data, no led are lighting on the unit all connections are tight and in place PV panel is fine battery is fine, I have followed the help page without any success now tried pairing with a new device, disappointed as I say it was working great and charged the battery as expected,***Update*** contacted the manufacturer who passed me onto the seller for support response was prompt and they resolved the issue for me with 2 suggestions as a start point so very happy with the product and the support I received. Thanks Richard

Installation was straightforward, with comprehensive wiring guidance available on the manufacturer’s website.🏕️ I use it with a 100W solar panel, and it significantly outperforms my older PWM controller, particularly in recharging depleted batteries. I like that the load terminals allow devices such as a tracker to run while the caravan is unattended. This ensures the tracker remains powered without risking severe depletion of the caravan battery. With adequate solar input exceeding the supply voltage by at least 5 volts, my caravan battery remains charged during the off-season.🚐 The output is fused, which is essential for safe operation, though I added additional fuses to all connections downstream of the controller. The Bluetooth range is limited as expected, and state-of-charge readings lack precision without a shunt, but the solar yield data is still useful. A shunt doesn’t seem necessary with a small installation such as mine. I like that the app provides charge status directly without needing to select the device from a list. While the cost is higher, the controller’s performance, compact size, and the reliability of the Victron brand make it a valuable addition to the solar setup in my caravan. ✔️
