It's gentle on your hands and is practically without fragrance, which I like. It doesn't get on my chest unless I'm in a small contained shower cubicle, something very important to me. Even with my frequency of use I get through maybe 2 - 3 a year so it lasts forever when using it for general cleaning. It can used neat or diluted in spray bottles, mop buckets or washing-up bowls. It's supremely excellent value and a great all-rounder and works as a multi-surface spray and works on floors with only a couple of drops. Best thing is it leaves shiny kitchen surfaces utterly streakless. It's not great however for washing-up and does not compare to Fairy etc in that respect, you do have to use a lot in comparison for the same results. It's a fairly gentle cleaner but it does everything I need it to, which is why it was originally produced. It's an old product that was made for use on oil rigs and therefore needed to be versatile. I would have said that it would not be any good in a dishwasher. I hope that this helps you with your choice.
